Sound of crossbow firing/shooting made by recording a mouse trap. Originally recorded for a university project, but thought they could be of some use to someone.

This is a recording of a cello bow being rosined with all of the high frequency information being taken out.

30# pse razorback bow with lightweight 1000 spine arrows. Shot 5 yards, in a basement range.

Cello played with the bow on the bridge and with muted strings (by the left hand) / variations in bow pressure and partials of the strings (sul ponticello) / crackling rosin / recorded at very close distance with zoom h4n build in microphones.

Small bow saw sound effect. Person cutting small piece of wood or bone with a small bow saw.

Multiple loop sections overlayed/crossfaded relooped, then overlayed, crossfaded and relooped again.

Bow wave of a ~8m sailing boat in calm water, distant micing. No sounds from the sail (could just as well be a motor boat depending on what you layer the sound with ;) ). There is also recording with a more close up perspective of the bow wave. Recorded with a ~30cm ab pair of neumann km183 on a tascam hd-p2, 48khz, 24bit.
