Some synth sound i made maybe about a year ago. With actually a really simple soft synth, the fl studio wasp xt. Just got that synth to a certain pleasing setting, then put an lfo high pass and flange and the right amount of distortion. Enjoy.

September 19, 2020 shenzhen, china tested the air raid system. Sorry for the background noise. I was standing on a city street on a rainy day and the cars made a lot of noise driving through the wet streets. I'm not sure if they do this test every year but i do remember they did it last year. I'm also not sure if this is province wide (guangdong) or maybe even country wide. The government let us know about a week earlier that they would do the test. If they let me know one day or even better one hour before the test, i may have been able to get to a quieter area for a better recording. There were some tests earlier with longer tones but my recording had even more background noise and this was the best one.

Recorded with zoom h2n, 4ch mode, some post production with noise cancelling and merge of all tracks into a stereo one due to a problem with my zoom unit. I had this piano in the seventies. It was manufactured at italy and had this cheesy sound. The sound is very analog and is created with squarewaves. In the last year i bought it at ebay and repaired it. The sound had a lot of noise,so i resampled it and put it into my roland fantom,to get a better sound. This is the result. Have fun.

Recorded on my zoom h4n 44100 hz stereo. This is a short clip of my 11 year old son playing basketball in the driveway at our house. There is ambient road noise. It starts off with a swish, then some dribbling then another swish. This is a rubber basketball bouncing on asphalt with a metal rim, nylon net and wooden backboard.

This is the same sound i recorded 6 years ago, back than i had just a very crappy microphone through my cellphone. Last year i bought an ipad, and i installed hokusai audio editor. This gave me a better way to record in higher quality. Still mono though, but it has less audio artifacts. This alarm is tested once every 3 months all over the swedish towns.
