Striking a wooden barrel with a thick wooden drum stick i have for large percussion. Minimal eq to remove useless frequencies below 80 hz, no boosting more than 2db, so very non destructive. No compression added. No permissions needed but i'd love to hear what you used it in!.

This is a recording taken by a tascam dr-40 interal mics mixed with external sennhesier me-66. Tascam recorded rear exhaust of a stock fr-s on a dynojet while sennhesier recorded engine bay. Mixed to generate what it was like to stand in the room at the side of the car.

I was just going through my sounds, when i decided "hey. . . I'm gonna release this. " so here you all go! i'm really proud of how this turned out. This, as you can tell, is a deep eerie ambience loop. It can be used for anything you want. I like to leave things up to the imagination of the audience. How it was made:. Software used:-fl studio 20-harmor-harmless-fruity parametric eq 2-valhallaroom. So basically what i did was get a low pitch sawtooth waveform, put it through some effects like harmonization, a low pass filter with high resonance, a phaser, and a load of distortion. The main synth is made with harmor. (yes, this is all one synth. It just has a lot of dynamics. ) i then processed it with some eqing. What made this sound what it is would be the reverb. I put 2 layers of valhallaroom on the synth. One has a very short decay time, and gives it texture. The other gives it the atmosphere. To add some more depth, for the final touch, i layered a sub-bass underneath it. Which is just a low sine-wave with reverb on it, which i used harmless to make. I hope you enjoy this!.

What if we could hear sounds from another planet ?. In this imaginary place, people can visit zoos under water. Here is the sound of a yhtem, recorded by a visitor from inside his personal submarine. The recording device was found by a member of the zoo staff, as it was floating over the water. It gave no more informations about what happened to the visitor, except that according to several monster's specialists, the yhtem « sounded hungry ». In the real world, this sound was created using the sound of a very brief scream. At the background was a noisy street, and some cars were passing by. I used two different screams and mixed them, before decreasing speed and tempo in audacity. -. Xson « cannelé ». Le son « d'arrière plan » est étouffé, plutôt doux, mais il y a des « accents » rugueux, acides, lors du grognement. L'attaque est graduelle. On distingue quelques notes, différentes hauteurs. Variation scalaire.

One of the most haunting sounds that i have ever captured. I got on the bus one day and didn't notice anyone on there when i sat down, and then a few moments later, i started hearing this sound. I was confused as to what to do. Do i turn around and look at this laugh-er in the face? what would a person laughing like this do to me if i looked at them? how could a person even laugh like this? it doesn't sound physically possible. As more and more people got on the bus, i saw nobody looking in his direction either. Am i maybe imagining this sound? is there a tiny many laughing in my head?. Upon leaving the bus, i looked back and couldn't tell who must have made the sound, but regardless, it still literally shakes me a bit hearing this audio. . . . Recorded with an android phone and edited in audacity.

A fidgety drum and bass loop with a cowbell, a bunch of claps, shakers and tambourines, arranged in fl studio, run through fl studio's gross beat plugin, which was set to 1/2 speed slow, and this is what the original and the processed drumloop sound like combined.

Three ceramic objects - a bowl, a bottle and a jug - clanking against each other, being handled and put down; at the end the bowl is scraped slightly and hit with a metalic object. I was in my room with my blue yeti microphone and i noticed that i can make a sort of whistle/shrill with my teeth. Edited with audacity. I think this could work with a few other small animals but a mouse comes to mind when i hear this. If you are gonna use this please comment or link me to what you are gonna use it for.

These are two separate recordings with my yamaha pocketrak of a single robin and you can hear the other robin answering in the distance. Though i like to watch robins pull worms from the ground and love their song, they also have a bad habit of sitting on my truck mirrors and crapping on my truck doors. :^) please comment on what you may use it for. :^).

Some creatures chirping at night, with city ambient noise in the background. I don't know if they are birds, or bats, or what. I stayed at my grandmother's place for a few days, where these creatures are heard every night, but no one ever saw them to be able to identify them. This is (roughly) what in-train announcements in germany sound like! i recorded myself with an iphone 6, then added an eq- and a distort-effect in audition, to really capture the awful microphones used in the trains. I went out back to record the robin and also noticed a smaller pileated woodpecker right over on the wood pile. Listen hard and you'll hear it peck the wood. Another one with 1 looping envelope and 2 vclfos in a dance. I start the recording with the looping envelope in non looping mode. After about 33 sec i switch to looping-mode. Records and hope that a pattern should emerge. So, what do you think? one more time i switch looping mode off and then on. Cool technique.

Giving a test of my new mono lapel mic i noticed some interference/static on the right channel - which is strange as it is mono. . . . An image was created to sound using sonicphoto. . Google it. . Free version is what i used, then went into ableton did some eq adjustments, probley didn't even do anything. But o well. Added some fades to make the sound more enjoyable.

A random sound i created for one of my animation. I really don't know what kind of sound do you call it but it is usually used when having a "dramatic" label. Well, whatever that is. Nevermind. Feel free to use it. This sound was achieved by recording myself pounding my table once and slowed it down in audacity while adding a bit reverb to it.

The only way to get good classroom ambiance is to record it in a classroom. That's exactly what this is. Recorded in a classroom as the students were studying and the teacher was quietly walking around. You'll hear a few random noises, some papers shuffling, some very muffled dialog, an air conditioner in the background.
