After checking my mail i was walking back to the house and heard this plane approaching. I always carry my yamaha pocketrak and got it going just in time to catch this low flyover. It actually reminded me of a warplane flying over. I also left in the wind sounds that sort of sound like distant artillery. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).

A marimba note being struck while thrown in to the air. Can't remember the mic that was used but it was a condensor mic. This was recorded in my room so unfortunately the signal to ambient noise ratio isn't great. The sound can be used for free (though it would be great to hear about what you do with it). It may not be re-distributed as it is, or as part of a compiled sound library.

A date calls you, because you are late to the date. . . Is it even a date? she's not sure and really nervous. Lots of rambly apologizing. 3 individual voicemails with slightly different contents. Recorded with a phone, then added an eq-filter to achieve the "voicemail" effect. Please tell me what you used this sound for! i am really excited to hear!.

Public domain music from musopen.com Q: What restrictions are there for the music downloaded from this site, can I edit it? Share it? Use it for a film project? A: The music on this site is given a public domain license, therefore, there are technically no restrictions on what you do with it. We do ask, out of courtesy, two things. And for all the film students emailing, yes you may use it in your film, you can then sell the film, containing our music. I think i used stereo mics that came with my h5. Recorded on top of a parking garage right next to the airport. I caught this great sound early in the morning before city traffic could get busy enough to ruin the recording. Enhanced with ozone 6 and removed some bassy wind noise with rx5. I think i actually used this sound for various whooshes for my flash sound in flash v quicksilver. Https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=vwcqy-d0i_g&t=49s. Please post a link if you use this file. I'm excited to see what you can do with this!. Text me if you want to have fun and talk audio. I love hearing what people are up to in different sound communities!702-860-9869.

These are two separate recordings with my yamaha pocketrak of a single robin and you can hear the other robin answering in the distance. Though i like to watch robins pull worms from the ground and love their song, they also have a bad habit of sitting on my truck mirrors and crapping on my truck doors. :^) please comment on what you may use it for. :^).

My very first upload. A small sample taken from nyb 11. Mp3, and fettled up slighty. Not the greatest, but for what i intend to use it for, it will do nicely :). Many thanks to the new york brass (http://www. Newyorkbrass. Com/download-free-brass-samples. Html) for making the samples avaliable. Will be using them for many other purposes, methinks. . .

This could also work as a pad if you raise the value of the attack. I'm unable to recall exactly what i used to create this sound so feel free to tell yourself it came from whatever: a bird, some sort of whistle, maybe a whale song, etc. More importantly , please enjoy! -vanszi.

This is the new traffic signal in town. We watched the stephen hawking show on pbs last night as they tried to filter out voices from space and i thought this would make a good alien voice trying to contact us. The sound that some people make around horses. Also a probably poorly executed click sound in some african languages like xhosa. Use this any way you want, no need to credit. But i would appreciate a word in the comments about what kind of project you plan to use it for, and -if appropriate- where it will probably appear.

This is (roughly) what in-train announcements in germany sound like! i recorded myself with an iphone 6, then added an eq- and a distort-effect in audition, to really capture the awful microphones used in the trains. If you like this sound, and find it useful, please tell me how you used it! i am really interested to see/hear!.

Distant sound of a marching band as they move down corso umberto in taormina. I was climbing down the path above the town in the early evening and the sound carried up out of the narrow streets nicely. Some handling sounds at the beginning. Free to use in anything. Would love to know what you're using it for if you're happy to share.

At 5'13 you can hear "nigdy nie zagaśnie" shouted by the party crowd inside the building. No "sto lat", no "niechaj gwiazdka pomyślności", just plain "nigdy nie zagaśnie". Is it a firefighter thing or what?. Recorded with zoom h4n.

Medium sized waves recorded sitting on a groyn (no giggling - that's the name given for a construction of wood or rock going out perpendicular to the coast to avoid erosion or longshoredrift)from whence i could get the gurgling of the water as well as the crashing of the small waves and the sucking and pulling of the stones. Recorded on a minidisk with an sm58 from what i recall.

One of the most haunting sounds that i have ever captured. I got on the bus one day and didn't notice anyone on there when i sat down, and then a few moments later, i started hearing this sound. I was confused as to what to do. Do i turn around and look at this laugh-er in the face? what would a person laughing like this do to me if i looked at them? how could a person even laugh like this? it doesn't sound physically possible. As more and more people got on the bus, i saw nobody looking in his direction either. Am i maybe imagining this sound? is there a tiny many laughing in my head?. Upon leaving the bus, i looked back and couldn't tell who must have made the sound, but regardless, it still literally shakes me a bit hearing this audio. . . . Recorded with an android phone and edited in audacity.

A random sound i created for one of my animation. I really don't know what kind of sound do you call it but it is usually used when having a "dramatic" label. Well, whatever that is. Nevermind. Feel free to use it. This sound was achieved by recording myself pounding my table once and slowed it down in audacity while adding a bit reverb to it.

This was recorded at a wedding and celebration party afterward. Several hundred people talking in a very large room. It should be random enough to be used for most any situation where one needs ambient crowd noise. This was recorded directly from the on board mic of a full hd camera that uses acvhd. What you are listening to was rendered off at 48hz and 16 bits.

I recorded some sounds in my school with voices, then i added a percussion record and i made them repeat several times. This make a sound to show that one sound can be louder than an other and make this sound unique. When you talk to someone you heard all noises around you but you really listen to what he is telling you.

The only way to get good classroom ambiance is to record it in a classroom. That's exactly what this is. Recorded in a classroom as the students were studying and the teacher was quietly walking around. You'll hear a few random noises, some papers shuffling, some very muffled dialog, an air conditioner in the background.
