This is the 1st sound i uploaded online in like four years. I'm shocked no one uploaded a sound like this prior 2020! it was made using layering of crackling sounds, deep drum for base, chain sound effect, and of course a nice swoosh. The end result is a sound that is very crunchy and powerful. Feel free to use it for commercial use, like video games or movies, no credit is necessary yet is always appreciated. Share your work with me! :).

Sound created using the wooden rod inside of my coat closet, and recorded on a zoom h2 recorder. This effect was used to create a sort of dungeon ambiance in a musical track. A decent down some steps, some creepy creaking, a little chain movement action, and it all seemed to fit ok. Check it out here: first trackhttps://brookinthebirchwood. Bandcamp. There is some compression, stereo widening and side-chaining used also. ( i used a higher resolution samplerate to export this file, which created a further glitch effect on the glitch2 vst,i believe it is maybe hardcoded to 41000hz or perhaps lmms can't handle higher sample rates on vst plugins ).

This is sound was designed to start out loosely spaced, in conjunction with other sounds, and tighten up to build tension before a drop. I use it in offset pattern as a "call response". I had to keep it under 2 seconds to remain viable at the precipice. Soloed, sequenced, or combined to create a new sound. Have fun with no string attached!. Key: a♭ minoralt key: 1abpm 107.

Signal chain was as follows:1) gate (otherwise the quiet parts would have a lot of digital sounding noise after processing)2) spectral processing (frequency reversing) applied using unfiltered audio's specops vst plugin. 3) reverb4) slight compression. Effects 1), 3) an 4) above were applied using ableton live's built in effects.
