This is a solo acoustic slide guitar noodling round with a country-ish melody. I've added some splices here and there to make it easier to navigate. Quite good fun to modulate the position and gene size to create some eerie rhythmical effects. Have fun!.

This wave file is prepared as a morphagene reel 48khz, 32 bit with markers (splices) for each sound. They're all tuned to c, they're stereo and have some reverb. It basically turns your morph into a synth voice that responds very well to 1v/oct. I am sure you're going to have fun with it.

Chinese flute loop from morphagene processed to rainforest atmosphere by makenoise and cortini´s strega. Strega is also being sequenced by rené. Feel free to splice into morphagene and add markers to taste. It's sampled at 48khz 32 bit. I used reaper to record it. Most of all, enjoy!.

I created a korg volca beats reel for the the make noise morphagene with reaper including markers which should turn out as splice points. There are a few examples of each sound where useful, e. G. One short bass drum, one medium, one long.

Sound of a truck grinding through some gears, then crashing. Spliced together creative commons audio and added bass modulation to simulate the sound of gear grinding. Formatted for use in the make noise morphagene. Eight chords from my fender rhodes, each on its own splice, based around an f-minor root. The rhodes is running through an mxr zw-44 for some mild overdrive, and was boosted with a focusrite scarlett dynamic octopre. See a video of this reel here: https://youtu. Be/ybhmx38n5oo.

Included on this reel are 40 splices of static, captured while scanning the vl, vf and uhf bands on an analog television set. Since the u. S. Conversion to digital broadcast signals in 2009, these bands have been providing endless streams of noise for all to enjoy.

A morphagene reel culled from an improvisation i made on a eurorack modular synth. Qu-bit electronix scanned is the sole voice here. Splices in the reel are ordered from somewhat delicate (taps, pulses, etc. ) to pretty chaotic noise. All recorded into a zoom h6.

Note: audio may not sound of good quality in preview. A bass loop made with the free brainstormer synth (it's awesome, you can find it here: http://roazhondsp. Storm-mastering. Com/), and then heavy modulated using lots of bandpass & notch filtering automation, pitch automation, distortion, resampling, & multiband compression. I'd recommend to splice things up a bit by slicing it into pieces & arranging them into something new.

This file has two different wavetable sets (from waveedit website), spliced per wave and saved in morphagene format. Once loaded, you can skip waves with the shift button, create a two voice synth, morph between l/r channels (e. G. With xpan), modulate l with r channel, etc. Changing morph, gene and size cv can dramatically ruin the sound.

A polite crowd making minute noises in an echoing concert hall. Made of multiple audio clips spliced together, in hopes that most transitions are seamless, and those that aren't can be easily edited. Taken with a black sony ic recorder, at boettcher concert hall with the denver young artists orchestra. Use however you wish. God bless!.

A reel for the makenoise morphagene with each splice having two separate sounds with radical or subtle differences on the left and right channels. Great for stereo/split processing, a mix of tonal and atonal sounds made in ableton live with heavy use of madrona labs aalto and kaivo plugins. Additional plugins used:labs soft pianonasty dlasoundhack pitch delay and spectral compandtd tapewormu-he protoverb.

This is the sound of trying to squeeze the last dregs of liquid hand soap from a 60-oz plastic container. It has no excuse for sounding this rude. Recorded opportunistically under non-ideal circumstances (including noise floor and clock ticking in background), using the built-in mic on an iphone 7. No processing was done except splicing multiple takes into one file, and transcoding to wav.

A recording of cameron, my cat, in the upstairs hallway letting us know she caught one of her toys. She howls like this most every night usually when we're downstairs watching tv. I'm guessing she feels we're not paying enough attention. Cut out all the silence between the yowls and added splice markers for use in a make noise morphagene.

For use at your leisure. I make most of them at 140 bpm so hopefully one day they make their way into dubstep. If you wish to have anything specific composed just let me know. Chop/splice/dice/herbs and spice them, best served piping hot, enjoy. Fondest regards,. Recorded with logic pro 9 using the exs24 sampler of the steinway piano (logic pro default) with a touch of reverb to thicken out the sound.

Recorded around midnight in mount saint francis woods in southern indiana on the kentucky border on a dr70r with shotgun mic. Not loopable as the wind picks up over time and is noticeable when you loop back to beginning. Light editing in reaper (eq down some wind sounds, splicing out distant traffic). Individual bullfrog chatter sounds also on profile.

This reel is formatted specifically for use with the "time travel simulation" technique seen at https://youtu. Be/1nqemcvv2xo. Each (short) splice is recorded only on the left channel, so that it can be processed and then re-recorded into the right channel without interference. See the video for full details. Sound: transient sounds formatted for use in make noise morphagene. Recorded by mike johnson of the make noise crew, using zoom h4n in a kichen, then processed in ableton live. There are a few drum transients from a recording session as well.

A futuristic trance/house vibe that i made a while back, after playing mass effect 2 for the first time. I really loved the nightclub on omega, and i suppose it sort of inspired this. I'm never going to do anything with it, so i'll toss it on here in case anyone else wants to. Cut it, warp it, splice it however you'd like!. 124 bpm, made in fl studio. Recorded by peter speer. Formatted for use in the make noise morphagene. Footsteps over ice and snow. Recorded in stereo on a zoom h6, december 17, 2018 in asheville, nc. This reel has been divided into 24, evenly spaced 4-second splices. I've found some great textures through playing the reel back at 1x speed, with gene-size, morph, slide and organize modulated by sequencers, random cv and cycling lfos. Time stretching the reel also leads to some fantastic new environments. Enjoy!.

I decided to bring my wind chimes inside and recorded them with an mxl 910 microphone into my computer using a focusrite scarlett 18i20 interface with the gain turned up a bit. I then chopped 15 samples i liked from the entire recording and formatted them into a make noise morphagene reel containing 15 splices. I am very pleased with the results, especially when patched into clouds or using an eventide space pedal for example. Enjoy!.

Created by hainbach aka stefan paul goetsch, formatted for use in the make noise soundhack morphagene. "i call it noir, since it is has a vibe of film noir to it. I made this with scoring for picture or theatre in mind, recording piano, percussion, synths on a telefunken m15 and nagra iii and playing that back on half speed. All music is harmonically related, so it should not grind too much when switching apruptly. I left some space for new splices in the end, as i feel that makes it more playable. ". Https://www. Collection of different human voices introducing original nitrate optical sound effects made for hollywood in the 1930s and 40s as digitized by craig smith. Sound effects extracted, these are mostly only the intro voices except for some small overlaps or tails. Sometimes it cuts off or on in the middle of a word but that's just what was available in the optical soundtracks. I plan to use these for a film but thought it might be fun for others to play with. Splice markers added in reaper, optimized for the make noise morphagene tape and microsound synthesizer, just rename the file to mg1 etc. , morphagene’s file-naming convention (but of course you don’t at all need the morphagene to use these).

Note: the high-pitched squeaks are artifacts from freesound's preview and aren't present in the actual recording. 10 minutes of a thunderstorm, recorded september 7th, 2019 from my apartment window in seattle. This is the raw recording straight from my zoom h5. Levels were kept low to minimize the chance of clipping. A few thunder sounds were still too loud, but luckily the h5 has a backup function that recorded an identical track 12 db quieter. I've uploaded that as well, so you can splice the two together to taste. Eventually i'll release a processed version with the two combined, plus compression and eq, but i wanted to upload the source material in case you'd prefer to diy it.

Br-laser vector synthesis reel for make noise morphagene. These sounds have visuals encoded into them at high frequencies. The vector synthesis reel for the make noise morphagene is a collection of different xy samples, to show off morphagene's stereo sampling capability. The sample material can be displayed on oscilloscopes, modified vectrex game consoles, ilda laser displays or oscilloscope simulation software in xy mode. Some splices on the reel can be used as seamless loops. Here is a video to give a basic idea of the reelhttps://youtu. Be/cxxb9veyq6w.
