The last performance at the circus ended hours ago, all the performers are fast asleep resting up for the following days schedule. . . Well except for one particular clown. I created this with my yamaha keyboard and a roland vs840 digital studio workstation back in the 90's.

Recorded on a pearl drumset. Only one of the tams, the bassdrum and the hi-hat is played. Recorded in a practising room located at the the former base for the american military in iceland. Recorded through a yamaha preamp. Sound altered slghty in cubase, adding reverb as well as compression to the file. Enjoy !.

Some more of that couple next door. They're not as loud as they're use to but they haven't stop doing what they do. There will be more noises of them to share. For this one, the sex parts are from 0:00-5:30. The rest are just some extra of them talking after they were done enjoying their pleasure. Some parts of the woman was very soft. You can hear the guy in a few parts. This audio along with the other ones were shorten and edit with audacity and other software.

I've benefited from freesound in the past so i wanted to give something back. I created this audio sample of the black speech of mordor (a section of the ring poem), as part of a cinematic orchestral lord of the rings piece to add flavour to it and wondered if others might find a use for it in their own projects. My 1st recording with my marantz pmd661, with enhanced preamplifiers by oade brothers. I used my two matching stereo samson co2 microphones with the input level on 7. Recording made around 9pm at night on august 1st, 2014 in a small midwestern town. The chorus of cicadas and tree frogs is very steady on this one.

A one-year-old american baby girl fusses and cries over a dropped toy. Various perspectives as the baby turns away from the microphone, puts her hand in her mouth, etc. Recorded in 2011 at 48khz / 24bit with an electrovoice cl-42 shotgun mic into a zoom h4n portable recorder.

These are samples from the new korg electribe emx2 music production station not the best recording quality but some nice sounds anyway the weird naming is due to the autoslice function in renoise wich i used to separate the samples from a one shot recording.

The vintage bass pack is a collection of bass one shots created in reason using synapse´s the legend synthesizer which is probably the best emulation of the original minimoog synthesizer available today. This is a slightly too-loud recording made on a mid-afternoon weekday bus trip in suburban shanghai. One can hear the automated announcements, the voice of the ticket collector and other passengers, the traffic outside and the sound of the bus accelerating and braking.

Series of sounds in one file, starting from opening a cassette and placing it in the player, playing a bit of a song (it's my song so there's no copyright to worry about), fast forwarding, and playing again. The file ends with removing the cassette from the player and placing it back in the case.

This is the sound of an inland vessel on river rhine, near mannheim, germany. You can hear the rhythmic and fluctuating vibrations of the diesel engine. Seems to be an older one. Unfortunately i oriented my zoom h2n wrongly (90° to the right). So most of the noise appears on the left ear.

A one-take recording of someone trying to do a dutch approximation for a suspenseful audio drama, i tried to clean it up as best i could and final form will be cleaned up/lower volume/panned out to sides. The only microphone i had access to was a sansa zipclip mp3 player. Apparently this is german!.

3rd in chromatic order. I recorded 16 notes from a music box. I waited for the motor to loose juice then i wound it forward manually so i could record each separate note chromatically. There are two octaves plus one note. Begins with d and climbs up the scale ending with e.

Audio of an ar-15 with a carbon fiber receiver being cocked. I don't recall the make. May require some trimming and buffing. I think i recorded this with an akg perception 200 using cool edit -- and i did it to get my room-mate to leave (after we recorded the sounds of several of his guns and a sword. . . ).

The loop was created with one of reaktor 5's instruments which was modified to create 4-second loops that sounds something like techno or general electronica. The drums are all created using a subtractive synthesizer, most of them sine waves and were modified several times.

12 closed hihat hits recorded in a reverberant bathroom. The hihat was recorded with a three microphone setup with a close mic mono and a wide-stereo overhead version of each sample. See my other packs for matching drum samples. More are on the way if anyone finds these usable.

This sound is made from ground up intirely on the computer. It was meant to sound like something is breaking down. Actually it's made up of two sounds mixed together. The one is a chip (snack) that is being crushed and the other is a drawer being smacked hardly. The entirety is then downpitched. Made with adobe audition and a regular cheap microphone.

Generative modular acid line sequenced with my own custom script that is specialized for non-quantized sort of strings of notes. I mangled the envelope quite a bit though so it just sounds more swingy than anything i guess. Not sure what the bpm would be. Would be better if it were cut up for one-shot sounds maybe.

There are various sound sources, and beats occur as the magneto-striction is phased by arrival time at the mic. This recording is from further away than the first one. Zoom h2 front mic wind shield some wind noise.

Independence day fireworks display, recorded july 2004 in tewksbury, ma. The noise floor on this one is not so good, but there are a fair number of very nice explosions, pops, and whistles. The sound of quad cycles being ridden in the distance is also audible, particularly loudly starting around the 15:00 mark.

I came across this singing bird in a tree the middle of the night in a residential neighborhood. This is one funky bird! he's got so many different sounds hes making. The recording isn't as clean as reinsamba's legendary "nightingale", as there is a bit of traffic whine in the backround that comes in at times.

This is just a noise taken off my home phone, it is the standard noise that plays after punching in a number. I used a direct feed for this one, although there really was not much different. This is the only sound from a direct feed that wouldn't come in so terribly soft.

Another recording of one of my favorite fall soundscapes featuring cottonwood leaves "shimmering", the lonely call of a blue jay and the soft sound of insects singing a little more quiet than they do in the warmer temps of summer. That was originally a boring industrial water heating system furnace. So i fooled around with audio effects to give that result that sounds like one of those old low budget science fiction movies or even some cartoons. It can be used in many type of stuff, it's up to your imagination.

You can hear people entering the doors and catching one of the elevators, a woman talking, and traffic passing by on the building's driveway.
