Found this ancient mr. Coffee making these creepy sounds whilst brewing. I could get some decent "coffee brewing" sounds out of it, but the moaning and heavy breathing is what makes it. This is a basic drum loop featuring a performance on the udu, a middle eastern hand drum. The stereo sample actually consists of the same rhythmic patttern performed on two individual drums of different pitches assigned to the left and right stereo channels. This loop would work well for a bollywood-style production or anything requiring a little bit of mid-eastern flair. Enjoy! feedback welcome.

First attempt at recording with audacity and my new keyboard. All sounds are bone-stock from the mx49. I've only added a little reverb in one 15-second section of the piece. I didn't intend to do anything in particular, just checking out sounds on the keys and getting familiar with audacity. I think of it as a 21st century version of the beatles "revolution 9". Squeaky audio cable-to-speaker incomplete connection. One end is plugged into a speaker and the other is not plugged into anything. The squeaking sound is made from my fingers touching the tip and sides of the metal tip of the non-connected end of the cable. The variation of sound and pitch is from moving my fingers up and down the metal tip in different speeds, angles, and placements.

I made this sound for a show simply by breaking a large amount of pasta various ways, then combining and altering everything in izotope rx 7. My effect isn't the greatest, but i found it difficult to find anything that worked for this application so i made my own, and here it is!feel free to use this sound for whatever you want, you don't have to cite it, just please don't claim it as your own.

While i was in math class taking a test i just decided to record. Near 4:38 you can hear a bell ringing, just a heads up for anyone who doesn't want a interrupting bell. It's can be rather useful for a animations where the character is surrounded by classmates taking a test or whatever. You can use it for anything it doesn't matter to me.

I tried to mock the sound of spinning the chamber of a revolver for a game. Didn´t find anything that fit my needs so i tried to produce one on my own. It´s a ratchet, spun once and played with about 150% speed. No attribution needed, all rights waived - just send me a message if and how you use this sound!.

Close up recording of a bee on a flower, i had the mic input level turned up to max to see if it would pick anything up, i couldn't hear it at all, and it sounds pretty good! shame about those inconsiderate people in the background. "hey i'm trying to record a bee over here!" is not really something you can get away with saying to strangers.

I think this sounds a bit like a jazz age theme reflecting a journey by steam ship. It was bolted together from little loopable sections (also uploaded separately here) which were all created using edirol orchestral samples and the magic of arpeggiating programs. Kick sound created in fl studio using a reggae kick sound played both dry and using a denise punisher free distortion vst and then layered with a pure click from fl studio. Here's the original version of the mosquito device that's designed to repel teenagers from shops and streets. If you're over 25 you won;t hear anything but the street sounds and a girl laughing. If you're under 25 then you might hear a rather nasty high pitched siren sound. . . Terrible quality (mp3) recording but interesting to know just how much sound isn't heard. Just because you can't hear it doesn't mean it isn't there.

I really needed something that sounded like a group of horses galloping in the distance and couldn't find anything. So i busted out my zoom h6 and set it on my futon comforter and then just tapped my fingertips on the surface right next to the stereo mics. Then i put that track in premiere and made four layers, all offset to get different rhythm and i thought it turned out pretty good so wanted to share it.

I thought i would do a recording of me listening to truckers on the cb radio while i was seeing if i would pick up anything. Surprisingly, i was able to receive something because sometimes i don't pick up anybody because barely nobody is on it. Sometimes you can understand what they say but sometimes not all the time. Audio from the artist paintpots in yellowstone. The hiss in the background is the constant float of steam from the ground along with the regular release of pockets of air from these odd little spitting mud holes. Pretty cool to see and producing a very unique sound. Not sure if it'll be useful for anything, but it was too cool to pass up.
