This a sound i created for the 'scottish play' for the appearance of banquo. It is made up of sounds from freesound and field recordings of screams and sobs. It was intended to shock the audience as banquo burst through a trap door in the stage. I am happy to say the audience jumped every night.

This recording was taken on dangar island shoreline. It features the gentle lapping ocean on the beach with the occasional jumping fish. The recording was taken with a tascam dr-44wl and the onboard xy mic pair. Post recording the sound was cleaned up a bit with rx spectral de-noise, and then normalised.

This night sound was recorded in south alabama in a bottom by a creek. It was recorded using a zoom h1 with the rode videomic go attached a dead cat windscreen was used. The clip was cleaned up in adobe audition cs6. The clip is edited so it can be used as a loop.

Quick flourishes of synth keys going up and down the pentatonic scale. Synth used was the korg ms 20 mini, analogue and monophonic. Subtle filtering and echo was placed on the recordings, as well as some reversing.

This was created by accident while trying to make engine noises. I can't remember the base sample but it's lost in the mix underneath reverb and other effects that create something that sounds to me like the interior of a helicopter. I hope that's useful to someone.

Stretched sound, good for video games. I made the original sample in fruity loops using the reverse effect on a basic software sample sound. I used a recording app on my samsung galaxy 3 phone to capture a caged parrot talking to itself, outside of a local restaurant. Unfortunately there was also a couple talking - but the parrot is loud and distinctive. A little wind noise. Cleaned up in audacity. And i have no idea what the parrot was saying!.
