One snare out of a bunch of custom snares made by me, combined samples, multi-band compressed and hit to tape. Custom to the point that i layered and re-sampled, layered and resampled. So much mangling and layering and resampling that its impossible to tell you the source to these snares.

This is a raw recording of what is meant to be a grass sound effect. Was made using a cloth bag and some utensil wrappers inside of it to make a crinkly crunching sound. Recomended to add effects to it as needed and as such left it as a raw sample, though even baseline it mostly gets the effect.

This was meant to be a part of a track i was working on, but ended up getting caught up in something else. So, i decided to give this away to those of you who may have use for it. The most important effect used to make this was absynth 5's atherizer. I produced this strangely satisfying sound by dropping a watermelon-shaped canning tomato into a dishpan full of water. Have to get that just about right to get this result. For my purposes i needed to repeat it, but you can do that. It's unlikely that two objects tossed into liquid will sound exactly the same, but it's possible to modify one of the two "ploops" by changing amplification, pitch and even to shorten the waveform to make them sound different. If you need that done let me know.

I'm new to freesound, and am loving all the ambient forest and water sounds. I wanted to get something on my account to share while i'm still in the process of purchasing good equipment to share my own ambient sounds. This monstrosity is what i got when i attempted to add a reduce vocals effect to an episode of an old low-budget nickelodeon show from the 90s. I don't know why, but trying to apply this effect to it only gave me this horrific garble. Kinda like a messed up tape recorder or something, idk. It plays a nice "left" and "right" to determine the channels. Then it plays back white noise first in both channels, then one at a time. Then the same with sine sweeps. Then short impulses.
