Recording of pond sounds in april. There are multiple creatures making sounds here - however, it is not purely nature sounds - there is a highway about a mile away and some of that drone is evident in the background. The foreground however is strong enough that it should be useful for basic nature ambient sound.

The spaceship portholes flashed of different coloured lights and let filter an increasing noise of tortured machines. Then it came a sudden explosion, so strong to lacerate the brain: an empty of white and yellow fire. Tones made with nch tone generator.

1:56 field recording of exterior daytime environmental windy day in an exposed lincolnshire countryside location, but with mics completely shielded inside a bus-shelter for a less in your face perspective. Mics are pointed upwards into the wooden box roof of the shelter, which has added a somewhat eerie and disconcerting lower mid rumble to the scene. Recorded with a balanced stereo pair of mics and edited to remove intrusions.

My desktop pc's front audio out sometimes (depending on the wifi connection) makes various sounds, which i tried to record. . . Not sure i was successful. :).

Happy accident: recorded a finger snap on a asus t100's internal laptop as a test sound, applied (heavy leveller, normalization)*10 and this came out. Sounds like a fine punch/damage sound on speakers, maybe for a 8-bit game.

This are noises of a rain gutter during a rainfall. As this was recorded on my balkony there are strong reflections of the adjacent brick walls. A strong crack of thunder recorded late at night on friday january 10th 2020 in a small midwestern town. Equipment used: sony pcmd100 using the internal microphones. Pretty strange to still have this much rain and mild temps in january. . . It feels more like march.

This recording was made on a warm, clear day in early june right on the sandy bank of the mississippi river -- between illinois and missouri. You hear the low, strong surge of the diesel engines as a barge slowly passes through and, what i find most enjoyable, you hear the gentle lapping of the river as the waves reach the sandy shore. You also hear various birds, including the common red-winged blackbird. Even though this recording was made around 3pm in the afternoon, you also hear a low chorus of insects adding to the relaxing summer-like ambience. I was lucky to be able to capture this beautiful, sentimental sound of the wind through clattering leaves, without the accompanying wind roar.
