Here's a "braam" i've made using cc0-licensed sampled instruments and open-source audio software (including plug-ins): ardour and sfizz namely.

Here's a non-realistic sound of a nuclear explosion. I've created this for my presentation at sonoj convention 2018:https://youtu. Be/phot0a2xglw. I've removed elements of the sound that were very specific to my use-case to make it more suitable for general use. The sound was made with only open-source software and linux. A great recording of the fantastic vocalisations that pug dogs make. Great source for creature sound design.

Actually made with distorting, bitcrushing, and downsampling a recording of an electric drill (with this type of heavy processing the source material doesn't really matter much though). No chips or tunes were harmed in the making of this sound.

Coffee dripping into cup. Ambient sound: heat source cooling down and clicking occasionally, clock tick toward end.

A nailgun sound recorded in a small room. The audio source is situated to the right of the recording device. An audible metallic noise is present in some parts of the sample. Recording cut and normalized but otherwise unprocessed. Recorded with zoom h4n pro.

Mind the loudness and piercing frequencies. Feedback made using only a self-patched random*source serge triple+ waveshaper, or tws+. Recorded with and formatted with splices for use with the make noise morphagene, but can use for and with whatever of course. Warning that it's it's quite high pitched so you may need to pitch it down with the morphagene's pitch knob a good bit if you want it less harsh. I think i acidentally hit splice instead of record one time so there might be a random short splice somewhere, but maybe it adds some splice length dynamics. . .

This sound effect was recorded for a college project, where it was used for an ambient sound of an alien spaceship. I decided to upload the sound onto here so that other people can use it. The source of this sound effect is the sound of a pc.

This is a recording i made at the front of my house after a storm. I used a pair of akg c1000's going in to my mixpre6 in ortf configuration about 15 metres from the sound source. Recorded in suburban melbourne australia.

An earthenware (ceramic) vessel submerged under water. The vase has been fitted with a contact microphone and the sound is produced by air escaping its pours as they are filled with water. The item is made from the clay sourced from the spring.
