Couldn't find the dry puff sound i was looking for so i did a quick recording. Figured someone might find it useful!. Originally created for my podcast here:www. Divecloudcast. Com.

A recording with an sm 7b while playing on the guitar head with added distortion. The recording environment was not ideal so the "white noise" is amplified room noise.

This recording was made using a home constructed "dummy head", and so should be listened to on headphones for the full effect. It was recorded in a local ornamental garden.

50 claps made in blok modular from scratch. Supposed to sound very unrealistic/dry/drum machine-like as possible so you don't have to sample the real thing. Some of these use asymmetric waveshaping which adds dc offset (0 hz noise) so you may want to highpass the crustier ones. I would've uploaded a zip of the individual hits but because of the way freesound works you'll have to chop it up yourself.

This first one in the pack is the loudest hit. The samples in this thunder pack are all 24-bit, and i recorded not directly as output from my mixer but routed it first through software compression and saturation and this first one was so loud it normalized itself during recording. None of the other samples are 'normal'. Notice my neighbor's car alarm going off the thunder was so loud. It's not loud in the mix.

You guys are probably wondering why i haven't been posting many sounds for the last month well number one so i can upload a lot of sounds at once and two i have been pretty busy with track and play practice. So now here is a bunch of sounds that were created by me either covering up or bumping my mic which i hope you will enjoy.

I really needed something that sounded like a group of horses galloping in the distance and couldn't find anything. So i busted out my zoom h6 and set it on my futon comforter and then just tapped my fingertips on the surface right next to the stereo mics. Then i put that track in premiere and made four layers, all offset to get different rhythm and i thought it turned out pretty good so wanted to share it.

Recorded this while going to the loo in a camping trip. The door was pretty creaky so i decided to record it because it could be a good sound effect. Of course i didn't have any equipment with me so the sound was recorded on my phone, which is why it's a bit echoey and shabby. Feel free to use however you please, you don't even need to credit me! :).

So there was an angry fly in my studio. What else does one do but run around, chasing it with your zoom h2.

This toy was low on batteries and couldnot complete a loaded sound so it loped it until i forced to play another sound. It gave the original soundbyte a rhythmic take.

This is a sound for videogame. I love notch filters, so, in order to keep the sound less raw and simple, i put some filter modulation and a bit of reverb.
