Clean notes played on a home-made diddley bow. Sampled with an electric pickup and a little added reverb to make up for lack of sustain. Seasick steve inspired me to construct a diddley bow (it ain't hard). All you need is a length of wire, 4 or 5 ft of two-by-four, some timber nails, an empty bottle and a hammer.

I've recorded close a small river with zoom h2n. I used xy configuration and 96khz, 24bit.

The boom is the genuine sound of a beretta 92fs being filmed on a cell phone with the slow motion feature. However i decided to add the "click-clack" of my switch blade knife as added effect. I tried to make a sort of explosion w/ my voice, and added a compressor, reverb, a little bit of distortion, quicker tempo, and i lastly slowed it down.
