This was recorded during a harsh storm here i stockholm. Harsh winds blowing thru a small forest. Details such as leaves rustling and hard stormy winds are key components in this recording. It sounds like a storm is approaching what do you think?. I honestly don't remember what i did in post. . . I think i removed alot of bass/rumble, added an expander to remove some unwanted noise to help the winds and leaves to stand out. I probably used rx to clean up some unwanted noises. Equipment:zoom h5 + sony ecm 6080s condenser mic. This was a test to see how the stereo configuration on the ecm 6080s sounded like. I really like it but i would prefer an ab configuration with 2 dpa 2011 or even 2 4060. . . I like the sound it was able to capture even if it may be a little to "centered". I probably will try to use it for my future hiking trips to capture rivers and general ambiances, if i get something special i will upload them here. Hope you like it.

boo (i got you good) is made in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. I'm currently in a beat 'n bass-mode it appears. Made this drums on a vintage-sounding drum-machine and added some sampled drums for a more vital sounding beat. Wanted a cocky big bass-line and some spooky music box stuff, sci-fi synth and more. It's space and horror meeting groove i guess. Could be perfect for an intro, outro, something spooky and cool, mysterious or whatever you feel like. . . . Let the imagination run wild. Feel free to use it as you like as long as you subscribe to and watch my channel! if you wanna use it in your music and gonna release it, ask me first. Don't wanna see my music copyrighted by someone else of course. Be cool watch and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Com/channel/uca8o46_wrqzehsdzuwfq3rq. This is a sound i created for the first season of get up, pierrot. It was used in one of the first episodes for an atm sound and it has been our most used sound in the series so far! i made it by using a combination of different party blowers and layering them. This is free for anyone to use but i would really love it if you could email me the uses so i can admire it and keep an active list in the soundcloud information. Getuppierrot@gmail. Com i'd love for this sound to become the wilhelm of party blowers!!! and we'd really love it if you could join us in the game on instagram @getuppierrot. Welcome to "get up, pierrot"this is a "choose your own adventure" style animated series. Viewer participation is through ig polls. Simply watch the ig story, vote on the poll, and wait for the next animation to see the outcome. You'll want to turn on post notifications because you'll only have 24 hours from the release of each animation in which to vote. Once voting is closed check ig highlights for poll results. Created this excerpt for my film "one thing". Chirpy guitar is used to create an odd vibe. Very lovely imo. Not a complete piece but a nice sound-bite? created in garage band at 120bpm. Mp3 file. Feel free to hash it, mash it and trash it. Use it as you wish, with only two conditions:. 1. Don't claim it for yourself by claiming you created it - that's just rude!. 2. If you feel inclined, and it's appropriate for you to do so, please feel free to say something like "credit to mr. Max riley tennant for their part in sound used" - or something like that. Or nothing like that. It's ok. I just would like max riley tennant credited too, if you wanted to. Don't bother to credit me. I don't really mind :) and only if you want to :) enjoy!. And if you want to see the short film i created it for: one thing then click here. Please be advised though -it is a potentially challenging subject matter, and i've been interviewed by the police for it already, so don't watch it if films about mortality and the ephemeral nature of life may upset you?.

4-channel record of a rolling thunder. The record is slow downed to 0,7-speed. The thunder has now very deep frequencies, which can shake your house, if you have the right equipment to play the file. The 4 channels are recorded in irt-cross technique (microphone distance 25cm) so it is a 360° record. Http://irt-cross. Mozello. Deat the end of the track the rain moves to the front channels. (fade is starting at 1:20 min and is finished at 1:41min)my other track can be used for "intro" followed by this track. See/hear here for the intro option:https://freesound. Org/people/bluedelta/sounds/446753/. The spatial impression is best if headphones are used. Ch1 = flch2 = frch3 = rlch4 = rr. The download-file is a polywav. If you need to split the file (e. G. To make a stereo file), you can use the easy to use"wave agent beta"(free)from sound devices for example. ;-)_________________________________________________________used recording gear:zoom f84 x rode nt1 (without "a" = the black ones).

A third version of https://www. Freesound. Org/people/gis_sweden/sounds/352940/. Now i let the alm pip slope affect a filter. I play a little sequence made with cvlfo , clock divider, attenuverter, quantiziser. The way i usually do…. But the interesting thing is the cvad (?) voltage controllable envelope generator. But in the case of alm pip slope you just control attack and decay. Seems to be enough. As in the other versions of this sound i connect one lfo to attack and a second lfo to decay. But this time i connect the vcad to control the frequency of a filter. Interesting. I wish i had two more cvlfos… should open up for rhythmical usage. I use no vca or adsr. I have connected the vco straight to the vcf and the vcf to mixer. In the beginning i have the frequency pot at 2 a clock then i gradually move it clock wise and let the vcad take control. 1 minute in the pot is fully clock wise. The vco is playing a sawtooth wave. If you dl and inspect the wave you can see that in the beginning and the end it is a sawtooth wave, but in the middle part the filter affects the wave form.

This is the latest homework i have done, for this one i imagined this:its as if you were hearing from the ears of the person in the cashier spot, at a busy restaurant, this person gets caught in a time wrap and they start to like trip on these sounds from the kitchen, the stage across the bar, and even them turning a page on their boring magazine. If you read this and haven't played it yet, close your eyes and imagine you're that person and tell me what you feel!. At this point i have learned about effects and all that(still no pro), so be sure to listen with earphones for the best experience!sounds i used:. One friday night, me and my partner were eating dinner, and we both heard a click. She perks up, "what was that?" and i said "the dryer is running, probably something in it" and she goes "no it was inside" (our dryer is like a back door outside porch kinda deal). I noticed it came from inside as well, in the kitchen, but mentally shrugged it off because lasagna. But now i know she heard it inside too, so i walk in the kitchen where the sound came from and don't see anything moving or on. I took note of where my cats were in case anything was being chewed on: one in bed, one on the couch, they aren't chewing on anything or are even near the clicking sound, so back to dinner. About 45 minutes later, dinner is wrapped up, my partner is asleep and i start turning off all the lights. When i turn the kitchen lights off, there is a light that stays on in the corner. I have a car battery recharger there: it has usb ports in case ya lose power, charger cables, and a flashlight attached on the side. . . . Which is on. I turn it off: exact same click that i heard earlier. Do i have a ghost?.

Shortwave wide-band digital emission recorded on july 15, 2014 at 15:17 utc in am mode using 2 instances of the online remote controllable short-wave receiver located at the amateur radio club etgd at the university of twente the netherlands. Left channel was recorded below the central frequency, at a frequency of 10187khz, right channel was recorded above the central frequency, at 10191khz. This was an experiment to see if selective fading would create stereo effects, as the lower frequency part of the transmission would be heard better in the left channel, and the higher frequency component would be heard better on the right. I used goldwave to put the separate recordings into 2 channels of the same file, after i synched the recordings by ear at 1/16 playback speed using a set of 2 particularly strong lightning static crashes as a guide, trimming off everything that came before the first strike in both original recordings, then inserting silence in the range of a few milliseconds until the stereo separation was as close to zero as i could get it. I wasn't as successful at that as i've been with experiments with voice recordings from simultaneous broadcasts on 2 wavelengths that i haven't posted here.

echoes from an age of misery is made in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. I wanted something massive and huge sounding with a certain groove and swag to it. But instead of going straight to the fat bass / big drums-part i made a quiet little intro before it kicks off. I made the drums with both sampled drums and a drum-machine to make it big. And i use 3 different basses. For a little extra spice i put some strings and stuff on it. Would fit anything big, dramatic and scary!!!. Could be perfect for an intro, outro, something spooky and cool, mysterious or whatever you feel like. . . . Let the imagination run wild. An actual new production instead of old stuff! made in june of 2020. A dark intro implies the humming engines of the spaceship you're in as you're traveling at speeds unimaginable. Slowly the ship starts to spring to life. As you open your eyes, slow but huge bands of light sweeps across your cryogenic sleeping pod, as if being scanned. The pod starts to move while you're still in it, going through chambers filled with machinery and bleeping computer stations, until it stops in front of a huge closed door. Suddenly, your pod opens up as well as the door. Your eyes are greeted with the majestic sight of a gigantic control room with windows as far as the eyes can see, galaxies fills your field of view, a beautiful synergetic view of the grandeur of space and the hundreds of lights of the control room, welcoming you to a new adventure. 2 simple chords form the basis of a textural composition supplied with sound effects. Plugins used: ni kontakt 5 with atom hub's the planet, doom by sampletraxx, space by rigid audio, ni absynth, and massive vst synths. Extra sound effects: shocking signal and ui designer by sampletraxx, heavily sampled and mangled. Effects: izotope mastering plugins, a bunch of fl studio stock reverb and eq, guitar rig 5, blackhole reverb, replika xt, raum reverb.

Sound exercise where we had to choose a location & an object in that specific location. I chose for the sculpture atelier in the academy of bellas artes. Sound source : a non-standard tuned höfner guitar & a lithium-ion battery powered 6 watt speakerwith a cute little aaa battery powered vox pre-amp. Put on a copper plate, live manipulated & processed / bent / tapped on / glided withwhat not /. . . A long metal tube. Natural feedback has been 1 of my favorite modi operandiinfluenced by entre autres my bloody valentine, sonic youthglenn branca & a lot of noise artists. . . Recording source : a f*+#!ng apple iphone ( for which itlasted 30 minutes to put it on an apple imac ?!!?? )i take a shot @ apple for a reason , my mbp during coronahas been seen imploding ! Synthesized sound of a flying helicopter. The patter is as follows:. Sound 1 || sound 2 || sound 3 || sound 4 || sounds 1+2 || sounds 2+3 || sounds 3+4 || sounds 1+3 || sounds 2+4 || sounds 1+2+3 || sounds 1+3+4 || sounds 2+3+4 || sounds 1+2+4 || sounds 1+2+3+4 || sounds 1+2 again || sounds 1+2 with phaser effect (pitch up and down). Each sound above is exactly 2 seconds long except the second-to-last sound (4 seconds long) and the last sound (8 seconds long). All sounds synthesized in propellerheads reason's thor polyphonic synthesizer. Here's how i did it: used two oscillators (one noise oscillator and another multiple-wave oscillator), and then passed them through two different filters. In each filter, i lfo'd the frequency knob at 2. 0hz (120bpm), and the pattern you see above is each oscillator-filter combination muted in different ways. For the last sound, i applied a phaser effect and automated the frequency knob or some other knob to give that pitch-up pitch-down effect.

I recorded this today (1/12/23) from atlanta, where we had a bunch of heavy rain and tornado warnings this afternoon. The radio station i recorded this from is am 750. The first part of the recording isn't very interesting, but the part where she started talking about how you can't see any tornados coming was really interesting to me. I think this would make for some really good ambience in like an environmental horror track. I decided to include the whole recording anyways in case anyone wanted it. Here's the backstory to this thingey if anyone really wants it:we were on tornado watch as i was speeding trying to get home from work, when the sirens started to go off. I had to pull into a disheveled looking parking garage, as that was the closest place i could get to. The garage only had one level, so i had no way of getting to lower ground. I sat there in my car, terrified that i might be stuck there, in a shitty parking deck, in the middle of a giant ass storm, with very little cell signal, for hours on end. I decided to turn on my radio and record it from my phone. Fortunately, i was only in there for 30 minutes, and i managed to get home after the rain cleared up a bit.

While working on another audiobook, i decided to make this sound. It's 38 voices, each saying different things, panned around and mixed together, creating a "wall of sound" that speaks like 38 radio channels at once. Recorded with a zoom h2 via usb into ardour2. Mixed and exported to flac with ardour2. Ps: it's all polish (with some possible german shout-outs), but the amount of noise makes it almost completely incomprehensible. Only a few words that are being yelled in a different voice can be understood. No sound repeats here, no recycling - every voice and every second of this recording is unique. Yes, it required quite a lot of work to record so much talking in quality! it's almost an entire audiobook squeezed into 5 minutes. Strangely (or not) listening to this makes my mind rest, because the noise blocks all other sounds from the environment - making my mind free of stimulation, allowing for sleep-like rest state. The signal is so much modulated that it appears to be not modulated at all - like static you get from a fm radio of you tune it wrong. The brain receives less data when you listen to this, than when you sit in a room hearing even faint (but distinct) noises from outside, other rooms, other people or yourself. This is sound masking in action. A very interesting psychoacoustic property of human hearing. Also: this is an interesting material to study of my voice's spectral energy distribution while speaking (as opposed to singing). As you can see using the spectrogram view, most energy is present in the band below 600 hz.

Ringmodulated inversion of my speech from the file https://freesound. Org/people/kb7clx/sounds/648443/ invertedspeechcq. Wav. I took the raw recording and used goldwave's mechanize effect to translate my voice to a center frequency of 14khz. I then demodulated it first at 10. 6 and then 10. 2khz meaning that what comes out is essentially the opposite sideband, offset by 3. 4 and 3. 8khz respectively. 3khz just didn't sound as good. The first i filtered with a low pass of 2. 9khz, the second was filtered to below 3. 4khz to emulate a communications receiver passband. I am speaking upside down as described in this video. Https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=q_ykxzcbh-g beginning at 00:03:16. Being blind i can't see their diagram, but i've got my own by ear intuitive method, keeping in mind that oo and ee are farthest from each other, all other vowells get closer the closer they are to the middle of the human voice frequency range. I say: huhlay sue quee, sue quee, sue quee do ux. Cahlloong sue quee sue quee sue quee do ux. The ay in huhllay is like when a spanish speaker says béisbol (baseball). The a in cahlloong is like the a in cat if you're opening wide for the doctor. The oo is like the oo in book. Listen to the other file and you'll hear: hello cq cq cq dx. Calling cq cq cq dx.

So one of tac0's friends came by with a civilian style contact stun gun and tac0 does what he does best, blasts it a small room for 1/10 of a second. Mp3 48,000 hz at 256 kbps. Also commonly and incorrectly referred to as a "taser" which is on the same level as calling a magazine a "clip". See google for more info. I can't help that it sounds like a bee. Also if it's too short, you'll have to make it longer in your daw. Uses (apart from videos that involve a stun gun or maybe a real taser brand taser): magic lighting zaps? a game show buzzer?. Possible vst modifications. Reverb: sound impulses for speakers. Distortion (guitar style): military style radio noise. Chorus/flange: science sounding things. Pitch: at -30 semitones you get some low pitched sound similar to a airsoft aeg which may be ideal for montage airsoft videos where piles of tokyo marui m4s traditionally muffled by the gopro waterproof case. // at -45 semitones you resemble gun fire at a distance. Mathematically at 10 rps (600 rpm) you could use this as a sit in for a distant fired ak-47 rifle ideal for video games, war movies, mods, etc. Apply a resonant filter and some reverb for appropriate outdoor acoustics. And nobody will know your distant machine gun sound was a civilian stun gun except for us semi colon right parenthesis. Or you could also apply ringmod at ~9000 hz to simulate ear ringing for those ptsd scenes. Trimming + looping + pitch: if you can loop this properly in a daw you could even create a saw style bass for electronic dance music.

This is an updated (improved is debatable) version of my previous electric contact stun gun firing sound, except longer and without peaking. Oh and higher sampling rate so you can hear all the higher frequencies better when you pitch it down. You'll immediately notice it sounds like the boring buzz of a bee. Oh well, not like you'll get a lightning storm. That's about it. Don't forget to have fun. Save A Little Dram For Me song from United States prohibition era. MEDIUM: 1 sound disc : analog, 80 rpm ; 10 in. CREATED/PUBLISHED Orange, N.J.: Edison. Lyrics: (spoken) In the middle of the sermon, Parson Johnson rose and started sniffing the air. There was a peculiar smell tricklin’ up the parson’s nose. That told him that gin was ‘round somewhere. And he closed his Bible gently in the middle of the psalm and started figurin’ mentally where that smell was coming from. His eyes scanned every pew, and then he did declare, he says “I announce this meetin’ through… (sung) …until you kick in with my share.” Oh Bretheren if you want more preachin’ Save a little dram for me. Glory hallelujah Why drinkin’ gin ain’t against my teachin’. Treat me with equality. (spoken) From this here smell it’s very plain to see That somebody here’s been holding out on me. (sung) For Bretheren if you want more preachin’ Save a little dram for me. (spoken) Now when they passed the bone dry law, I was the very first to say that it never would stay And neither did I think the law could regulate our thirst. That’s why I’ve got some stored away. Now since prohibition’s got us drinks is few and far between. Of all the stingy brothers you’re the worst I’ve ever seen. But I insist on my share. Don’t say it’s all run out Or else you’re going where-- You know that bad place I been preachin’ ‘bout? (sung) For Bretheren if you want more preachin’ Save a little dram for me. Glory hallelujah Why drinkin’ gin ain’t against my teachin’. Treat me with equality. (spoken) I’ve shared your joy and I’ve shared your sin And believe me brothers I’m gwine to share your gin. (sung) For Bretheren if you want more preachin’ Save a little dram for me. Українська: «Збережи для мене трохи драм», пісня з епохи сухого закону США, випущена в 1922 році.

Ok, i don't know how many of you might be interested in this, but i figure there's no harm in posting it. I'm working on some original songs. Laptop-based, electronic songs, with many orchestral parts, including violin, viola, cello, and string bass. Presonus studio one has some very nice vst string instruments, and i have some really great ones for kontakt. But they all are missing one thing, and i couldn't find the (admittedly esoteric) sound that i'm looking for anywhere on the internet. Being a viola player myself, i recorded myself playing these very particular incidental sounds. Let me explain-. There's this 'grabby' sound that a well-rosined bow makes just is it is first being drawn across the string. Listen carefully to any of the pros and you'll hear it. In your laptop sequences, if used subtly, right at the point where the first note of a phrase is initiated, this sound can give the string part a marked sense of realism*. This, combined with vibrato, reverb and a nice warm/tube/tape saturation setting, nobody will be able to tell the difference between your vst and the real thing. About the audio-i tried to keep them as pitchless as possible, thus not limiting their utility. I recorded two sets of all four open strings (c, g, d, a), first close mic'ed, and once from a few feet away, in stereo. Or to say it another way, the sounds are as follows-1. Open c close2. Open g close3. Open d close4. Open a close5. Open c far6. Open g far7. Open d far8. Open a far. It's totally overkill for me to record all the different versions, but i suppose somebody out there might find one more appropriate than another for their purposes. They work pretty effortlessly for violin and viola, but you might have to pitch them down for cello and string bass. I added no processing whatsoever, apart from normalizing each individual sound. Aiff, recorded at 44/16. Nady scm-2090 stereo condenser mic, focusrite saffire pro 24 interface, recorded in logic. Not the quietest room, but these sounds will be so far down in the mix that it won't matter. Free for all to download, no attribution necessary. Http://www. Freesound. Org/people/bruce%20burbank/sounds/220917/. As an example, here's the part i'm working on that motivated me to record these sounds, with the grabby sound in place. See if you can spot the three times i used it. *pro tip- much the same way i'll insert an inhale breath right before horn or oboe phrases.

If there is one man, white western historyhas neglected, it must be james baldwin (1924 - 1987)known to many as writer, novellist, essayistplaywright, poet. . . Surely unknown to all asactivist, as frontfighter, as luchador of theanti-xenophobic anti-discrimination discoursin general & more specific of the north-american'negro'. His father was a slave & as a childat the tender age of 10, he was teased and abusedby 2 new york police officers, an instance of the racistharassment by the nypd that he would experience againas a teenager and document in his essays. Why isn't his history & discours teached at school ?. Anno 2020, i learn to know him & his eloquent rhetoricalcapabilities through the also fenomenal moving & breath-takingperformance of tawiah + myrrh for the refraction festival, takingplace online of course, due to the ever infamous covid-19. . . An audiovisual délice, in which visual artist myrrh, places tawiahin subtle superposition with james baldwin & his 1965 debate with mr. Buckley ! in the cambridge union ! !! ! ! ! while performinglive one of the most delicate concerts i have seen during corona. . . A must see+hear _ _ _ https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=h5l2lssdzro. Being totally absorbed by this performance, i discover as an artist myselfone of the reasons i bind so much with this piece of music is that i myselflike to use the same harmonies, apparently, which i did indeed in 2015https://soundcloud. Com/torturado/eternal-void-the-fall-back& in the mid nineties, that is 1990's. . . A long forgotten piece of me, performed that time during my ritcs studies, as my band torturado, no recordings from then helas online, but gracias a la discovery of tawiah+myrrh & james baldwin picked up again what i remembered from that time & made a 2020 version of it. . . A small visual document of this: https://vimeo. Com/450004585. As from the moment, i discovered james baldwin, i integrated also his powerful 1965 debate in my performances during covid times. . . To spread his word ! to inspire others, to confront others. . . I told myself covid or corona is not going to stop me playing & performing music, which comes natural to me, so i looked for ways to perform outside, in plain nature, with batteries. . . Guitars, 9v fx, fx without 9v compartment, battery based amplifiers, battery based kassette walkmans. . . & it is on kassette that i put an edited full version of the james baldwin vs buckley debate of 1965. . . For this exercice of the sound design formation, we had to upload a sound that intrigues, well, james baldwin eloquent voice, litteral & metaphorically inspired & triggered me. . . Also the sound of electro-magnetic technology called tape is something i have always been fond of. . . So i made an edit of an edit of the james baldwin debate of +- 10 minutes !. Spread the word !a+. Actually this could also serve the exercice of recording a sound that comes from a certain place, or is part of a bigger thing , or personificates a certain place. . .

No pain no gainshort storyby: maqsood hasnitranslated by: najamfree abuzar barqi kutab'khanafeb. 2019owing to the intensity of heat and thirst, the crow was very enervated but there was no water and shade. He went on roaming about in search of water. He was thinking that, he would definitely die, if he could not find water in a short time. He neither wanted to die nor he was disappointed. He was determined to seek water and shady tree till the last breath of his life but, in fact, the intensity of thirst was creating problem for him. Now he had two choices either he must continue seeking water or leave it and wait for death. He mustered courage and flew east in search of water. He had covered a short distance when he saw a garden and hurriedly started flying towards it he wanted to live and was sure of hisexistence in future. Quite surprisingly, he seemed to be more active now. He wanted to reach the garden very soon and every cost. Though he was flying very speedily yet the garden seemed to be very far off. He got tired and thought that the garden be an illusion of his mind. He was shaken about the entity of garden. He thought it might be an illusion and he must seek any other way which could rescue his life. But he had not any other choice. To chase the illusion was better than to leave seeking water because there was the possibility of life. If he died while searching, it would be a courageous step. He stopped for awhile and the garden was quite at short distance. He hopefully started marching towards the garden and felt that it was not too far. He felt grief for wasting a precious moment. He would have been ahead if he had not stopped. He felt ashamed ofhis negative thinking because they could bring about demise. These negative feelings were equal to pessimism. A devoted definitely finds his goal at last because god helps those who helpthemselves. He took on fling with great zeal and now he appeared to be fresh. He was spiritually exalted and was flying without difficulty. Now he reached the threshold of the garden. The garden was in the urban area and it meant that it was for pastime but he was surprised to see that there were no bower. Birds had left this garden when men himself neglected it. He flew over the garden but there was no water. He deplored his labor. Suddenly, he found a pitcher in the garden and felt rejoiced and hurriedly went to it. There was very little water in the pitcher and he made very attempt to drink water but failed due to the low level of water. He hatched a plan and caught a pebble with the help of his beak and put it into the pitcher. Owing to heat, the pebble was dry and it seemed that it had liked it. In a short time, the crow poured another pebble and the first pebble did not like this sharer. Although it had not liked thesecond one yet the bitter fact was that the wise crow imposed his will by throwing more pebbles into the water. The crow was gallantly doing his job and, at last, the pitcher became full of wet pebbles and he drenched his thirst by sucking wetness of them.

Blogspot. Com/search/label/gente%20que%20hace%20m%c3%basica. "the furruco or furro is a drum with leather and a rod, it is usually used in traditional christmas music, as well as in the bagpipes of zulia and christmas bonuses. It is also used, in some towns, in the parranda. It is made up of a wooden box cylindrical and slightly conical, it is covered by a vibrant, dry leather membrane. Fixed to the drum with metal braces, so that it can be tempered according to the needs and taste of the interpreter. At the center of the membrane is fixed a wooden dowel, a little more than one centimeter in diameter, the blunt end of which is set in the leather, and is tightly tied on the opposite side of the membrane. Said wooden dowel, about 7 centimeters long, has a conical shape and is pointed at the tip. The purpose of this is that a cane rod, about 125 centimeters long, is placed at the free end. This reed is the piece that appropriately manipulated by the performer vibrates with the soundboard, producing a hoarse, deep, low register sound, with great sound. It could be said that the furro is the bass in the execution of the bagpipes and the party. This sound was recorded as part of an interview conducted by rafael rondón, director of the group "el valle". A simple recording was made with a sony cell phone and then it was edited with audacity, it was equalized and normalized" see the interview with rafael rondón in https://musicaqueatta. Blogspot. Created by divkid for use in the make noise soundhack morphagene. There are dry-only, fx-only, and mix versions of this reel in the pack. See it in action at https://youtu. Be/rk4ufmfcouc. Patch walkthrough. The patch starts with the qu-bit chance providing discrete random values (sample and hold) going into an instruo harmonaig. This takes the stepped random voltages and quantizing them to a given scale. I put in the notes c d eb f g ab bb which is a c natural minor scale, the relative minor of eb major (for anyone that's curious). However like most of my modular work i didn't actually tune the oscillators to anything specific. So treat the scale as a pattern of intervals not a set of specific notes. The quantized notes then form 4 voice chords giving us a root, third, fifth and seventh cv output that will be diatonic following the scale pattern, meaning the third will be major or minor, the seventh major, minor or dominant and the fifth natural or diminshed to suit the scale. With the 4 quantized outputs on the harmonaig these all go into the four oscillators on the synthesis technology e370 quad morphing vco. Each of the e370 oscillators are in the basic morph xy mode using the built in rom b set of wavetables. Wavetables are modulating by various mixes of the befaco rampage, mutable instruments tides, wmd multimode envelopes and music thing modular turing machine. The modulation sources are mixed and split with multiples and mixers. These modulating wavetables then go into a bubblesound vca4p where i'm using 4 mk1 intellijel dixie oscillators all un-synced and free running with sine wave lfos. Each lfo freely fades the voice in and out of the vca4p. As this is unsynced there's no regard to pitch changes linked to changes in amplitude and the swells. I find splitting the gate/rhythm from pitch regarding sequencing to be a freeing and interesting way to work that's not available on traditional instruments. This is just a simple application of that idea with the lfos fading freely unrelated to the other modulation or sequencing of pitch. The sound then goes from the vca4p mix out into a befaco mixer and praxis snake charmer which the output section of the larger case and i'm sending a 'pre' auxiliary out into my fx case. The dry sound first goes into the erica synths fusion delay / flanger vintage ensemble which is giving me short modulated delays giving vibrato like sounds and pushing the input level and overdrive gives us some warmth and grit that thickens up the sound and also fills in the gaps left by the free running lfos pulling quieter sounds and compressing in the on board tube. This then outputs to the feedback 1 bit multitap delay module which has it's delay chip pushed to longer times for some added crackle and noise. I'm using the two delay taps for a shorter and longer delay with little feedback to mix the dry sound for a generally noisier and smeared version of the input. This then goes into the xaoc devices kamieniec with it's on board lfo as slow as possibly for a mildly resonant phase shifting. This goes into mutable instruments clouds set to sew random grains slowly and randomly which are pitch shifted up 2 octaves to fill out some high end flourishes against the closed chord voicings at the core of the patch. Finally this goes into a long lush reverb from the halls of valhalla card in the tiptop audio z-dsp. The stereo fx chain and the mono dry signal are mixed in the befaco hexmix and recorded as a mixed stereo file. I'd consider this to be the main 'reel'. However i split the dry signal and the fx only wet stereo signal and recorded those at the same time so you can choose which reel to use and experiment with dry/wet or blended sounds from this patch.

Calm ambient track. Winter woods / pinewood february 12. 41 pm (noon) in the netherlands near village giersbergen. Bram’s admin request-text and my answer in audio. Hello freesounders,it happens very infrequently that i post requests. However, i have an extraordinary sad reason to do so today. I don't want to go into detail in this public forum, but someone incredibly important and incredibly young in my life and my wife's just passed away. I am thus looking for an extra long recording of a peaceful "forrest ambience" to play during the good-bye ceremony. Something with some birds and perhaps some wind through the leaves,. . . . Currently the ceremony is planned for april 6th so i would need this before then. I know i can look through freesound, but i would like something specifically recorded with this in mind, something we will be able to listen to later as well, remembering this important and sad time in our life. . . Nl/natuurgebieden/nationaal-park-loonse-en-drunense-duinen. In the loonse en drunense duinen you will find forest, heathland and especially a lot of sand. It is one of the largest shifting sand areas in western europe. The wind can blow undisturbed in many places, resulting in an ever-changing landscape. By purchasing it in 1921, it has been protected for 100 years and we can still enjoy this brabant sahara today. You can roam freely on the sand plain. So there is plenty of room to explore extensively. Marvel at the submerged trees, enjoy the chirping field crickets and quench your thirst at one of the many cafes or restaurants on the edge of this nature reserve. Walking, cycling or on horseback: it's all possible here. With the wind in your hair and the sand in your shoes. You may even come across the sheep herd. The sheep keep the heath short and eat away saplings. This is how they keep the area open. The loonse en drunense duinen still has 270 hectares of shifting sand. That sand creates rather extreme conditions: the soil is dry and nutrient-poor. The difference in temperature between day and night can be as much as 50 degrees celsius. This ensures a unique flora and fauna. The animals and plants have adapted or feel at home in drought, aridity and temperature fluctuations. Sand sedge and various lichens, for example. And the viviparous lizard, sandpit beetles and sand bees. All species that love sand. In the last ice age, the polar winds blew sand from the north to brabant, where it remained in thick packages. For a long time this sandy plain was covered with primeval forests. Until the fourteenth century the trees were felled by people. They used the wood as fuel. The bare plain was filled with heather, where the farmers grazed their cattle. This intensive grazing and the sod cutting of the soil depleted the soil. This gave the sand free play. For a long time, the sand was a major problem for the residents. Villages and fields threatened to disappear under it. Trees were planted to stop the advancing sand. You can still see the traces of this today: find the submerged trees that only peak above the sand hills with their crowns. Date/time: february 15th tuesday 2017, start 12. 44 pm.
