Chaotic resonances that soon falls into more and more chaotic behavior. Quite a smooth chaotic noise sound. Made from 2 sine oscillator frequency modulating each other and some variable controls. Programmed in chuck programming language.

Whooshing sound, rather like the sound a stick makes when you whip it through the air. I made the sound accidentally by moving my zoom h4 fast through the air and quite liked the results. If you do us it, i'd be curious to know how, in the comments.

From the loa angeles book fair 2019 opening day at usc campus. Not the full band , still very impressive. Forgive the clipping as the dynamic range for this material is quite large. Recording too far away i would have picked up chatter, so a compromising record.

A sound i made that would be used for buffing spell in a game such as 'iron flesh' in skyrim. There are multiple layers of sword sounds i have recorded as well as some kick samples, reverse effects and some leather flapping. Please credit if you use this it took quite a while for me to get this. Nm.

My bird makes this sound in the morning usually it means sherry wants food, today she was quite hungry. The sound is g# according to audacity. She makes some other sounds but i'm not uploading them just yet.

This is the sound of my computer idling (while recording in audacity, but that should make no difference) recorded using an old aiwa stereo microphone, which performs quite well. Don't worry, my computer is not this loud in real life, it's just normalized audio.

A bunch of gusts as a warm moist mass of air from the south steamrolls over southern illinois on, believe it or not, december 14th 2015. The temperature outside when i recorded this was 65 degrees! not quite the norm for this time of year. Recording made with the handy zoom h4n recorder using the internal microphones.

I uploaded a forlorn sounding hound sound, but this is more like it. It's not a racoon, though, it's the fedex truck. My second dog is an oversize pointer, and i'd never once heard him bark. His is the very last, louder, quite different bark at the end.

A suspenseful riser made from a wet mix of a rate-shifted bed frame being hitted and reversed after it has been "glued" or rendered as is, producing a deep, "mega-marvin" similar sample. A sample that was created from utilizing chromatic tones, stretching, reverb and the use of the wet/dry filtering to get the mix "just right". If you aren't aware of what the mega-marvin is. Mega-marvins are essentially instruments containing extremely heavy string, woodwind and varying density of materials that generate strong noises, trailing ambiances and brass-like sound qualities quite suited to the horror genre, generating a daunting and sorrowful sounds. Very fascinating stuff, look it up if you can - they're big and quite technical.

On my way home from studies in music i noticed quite nasty frequencies in every start from a station. You can hear the door beeing opened and closed to the noicy place between the cars. Recorded with the built in mic in a lap top.

This is from my royal typewriter that i picked up at the thrift store for 5 bucks. It works great and i use it quite a bit to write letters with. I love the feel and sound of the keys. Street scene in castelo de vide, portugal. You hear the hum of a near highway, cowbells and people talking. A car drives by. At second 37, a dog starts barking quite hysterically, later joined by another dog. Recorded with an olympus ls-14.

I designed this sound from scratch using a 20 millisecond pop of audio looped and processed heavily using ableton live's sampler instrument. The loop is 2 bars long, but it this sample file i trail off for quite a few seconds sustaining the note to show off the sustain processing on the synth.

A regular day at chapel street in limerick (ireland). A baby giggles, a delivery truck passes by, people walk and talk. Quite a crowded place. Light traffic. Recorded with sony pcm-d50.

Here are the highlights from a mri machine (a ge signa, i believe). Probably useful for robot sounds. You'll also note the cooling system in there as well. These things dissipate a huge amount of energy and are quite interesting. The actual sounds come from vibration of the coils as the machine runs through it's patterns.

Night time at an intersection in a residential part of tokyo. Normally the street is quite busy, but at 11 pm you can hear more discrete sounds, including people walking around. The only processing was trimming at mixdown of the 2 independent stereo tracks. Recorded with 4 mics.

This is quite a generic exterior atmos. You can occasionally hear crockery and chat (it's a the outside area of a quiet cafe) and a fountain faintly in the background and other than that, general suburban city noise.

On the balcony, at our apartment in podgorica, montenegro; around 5pm, an hour after sunset; with the shotgun, sennheiser mkh 416 microphone, pointed out over the roofs. It's a very quite evening, just after new years, and you can hear a few holiday firecrackers, or petarda. Recorded with the tascam dr 100 recorder.

I think i've made this out of a hg fortune synth but i can't remember which one and like usual, done in fl studio with quite some eqing applied to it too. Excuse the popping though, it's an artifact caused by the synth.

Recorded with tascam dr-40 using internal mics with bass rolloff cuttoff at 120hz and tascam ws 11 dead-cat wind shield (it was quite a windy day).

I recorded my voice, layed it out on the track and increased the pitch quite drastically. I layered this with a chirp track so as to contrast the downward rhythm with an upward one. The recorded noise has been filtered quite a lot, but there might still be too much left if you bring the sound to high levels. However it should work in quiet surroundings. Ever get thaat bored you recorded a washing machine? yyuurp!. As an engineer i find this quite interesting. . . Published spin speeds and all that. Also, the zoom is clearly getting some rf interference, most audible around 1:12 to 1:16. The zoom is battery powered. This is a duplicate of the flac upload that appeared to fail but maybe didn't.

Electrical hum created by my guitar lead resting on the table top while connected to a line 6 box going into my laptop. The line 6 software was also giving it lots of 'cavernous hall' reverb. Quite stereo too. It is a g as far as i can tell but slightly sharp so try shifting the pitch to get it in tune with other instruments.
