333 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Plucked"

My own creation. Five samples of a celtic harp,which have the followingloop-length: 336-200-150-100-67 (c3-a3-d4-a4-e5).

A little creepy ambiance bed i made for a dnd game, this is a moon guitar gently plucking around a d minor scale, with a few harmonic exceptions here and there!.

Made from scratch in audacity. Started with a generated 'pluck' and expanded from there. I think it has a bit of doctor who tardis interior background sound effect about it.

A wide variety of twanging sounds made by plucking the edge of a ruler held against a flat desktop. Includes some interesting rising and falling glissando effects created by moving the ruler while it is vibrating.

Session 1, find more koto in this sound pack. The recorder wasn't optimally placed in the session 1 recording, so sometimes you might hear some low impact noises transitioning through the table to the recorder. Some eq (low cut) should be able to fix this. We went to my friend's father to record a koto, a traditional japanese zither-like (table harp) instrument, consisting of a large wooden base with long strings for plucking. The strings are tuned in the japanese pentatonic scale, allowing a mystic, mysterious, beautiful harmony. It was my first time ever playing this instrument, so don't expect wonders lol. But i tried to "feel" the instrument as well as i could, working from my limited keyboard and guitar playing skills. I improvised simple patterns, and also tried to work with call and response ideas, and bass notes, plucking the low strings with my fingers, and then plucking the high ones with a pick. Spring, catch and pneumatic closer for old, rusty screen door being struck, plucked and generally abused to make a variety of rattling, clanking and twanging sounds.

These harp sound effects i made can be used in many ways such as a transitional music cue if a character is thinking about something.

I have recorded a sound made by crumpling a paper. Then i have recorded the noise made by scratching a streaked lid with a spoon. Then i have generated a pluck ( pitch 100), repeated it till the end, and added a “wahwha effect”. I used audacity.

This is used by fliter of a vst bp 48 fx using a sharp nice smoothing synth sound.

Amateur guitar play from an old cassette (memorex 120, 1 of 2) recorded in 1984 when i was 15. Plucking 1 or 2 strings to a tune of my own making. This was an experimental recording session, using two tape recording machines. (ghetto blaster & hi-fi tower) take - 3 with takes 1 & 2 impositions playing, creating a final 3 track recording. Two previous takes (two track recording) playing, while recording a third track.

Sound of someone plucking stretched rubber bands like a stringed instrument. Could be used as a tension builder or shock hit for a creepy gross-out scene.

Various guitars strings plucked above the nut. This gives a sound we are trained to associate with horror films. Useful sounds for sound processing. There was a swarm of annoying motorcyclists - for which i apologise. I suppose if you are a good sound designer, those sounds might also be useful.

A short cello phrase recorded in amstelveen (netherlands) on the 22th of september 2012. A rme fireface 400 soundcard was used and ableton live as recording software. The resulting sound is a mix between recording with a zoom h4n (used as microphone), a dpa 4099 and an oktava mk-012 microphone.

Vocals through arbhar processed through microcosm and erbe-verb. Plucks from rings and plaits. Panning via x-pan and stereo strip (divkid). Rendered in reaper at 48khz 32 bit fp for morphagene. Enjoy!.

Recording of my kalimba tuned to c-major (give or take a few cents), striking the lowest possible note. Recorded on a rode nt1-a through a scarlett 2i2 interface. Noise-reduced for clarity.

The sound is a contact mic'ed piece of pvc pipe which has a drawstring from a pair of shorts tied to it. The sound is the drawstring being plucked. It's could be good for bass lines. The sound was processed slightly in goldwave (some noise reduction/eq adjustments/fading).

I created a basic saw tooth bass pluck using sylenth1, and used image line edison to time stretch, equalize, add reverb, and smooth out the beginning and end of the sound to give it a swelling effect. The sound is tuned to c for easy re pitching to suit different projects.

Rubber bands stretched evenly between drawer handles being twanged, producing a high pitched melodious tone. From an old cassette, recorded 1985. Another upload of the same recording to remove a click from the first few seconds, using the audacity removal tool.

Recording of myself playing a home-made instrument constructed from a large suspended metal door affixed with bits of thin aluminum sheeting of varying sizes and bent at varying angles. I "played" this by striking and plucking the bits of aluminum and recording the results through a piezo contact mic adhered to the door.
