This is one of my first experiments in audacity making a sound like this! i wanted to make a drone with my voice as a calming atmospheric background, but it turned out a bit creepy. I hope it can be of use to someone here!i'd love to see how you use it, but i don't require credit. Thanks!.

135 bpm metronome concentration challenge for drumming practice. Can you play drum rudiments locked to the click while a backing track of music comes in and out to distract you? it's a tough one for the brain - good luck!. The backing music is "country bumpkin" from beetlemuse (royalty free): https://freesound. Org/people/beetlemuse/sounds/532351/.

I have no excuses for this. Ever make up a stupid tune while you were working? this one made it from under the car to the garage and then to the kitchen sink. I can't imagine how it might be useful, but it is entertaining, to me at least, so here it is. Dinglebang. No it was not me. ;-d.

A small recording i made to go with a short animation for a competition i entered. Using morphovix and audacity, first there is a small voice then a deeper one, and finally an evil voice followed by laughter. Whilst this is creative commons 0, it'd be nice to hear if anyone uses it (and where) in the comments. Thanks for listening.

I recorded hot-water-heating pipes crackling and then looped the sample at progressively faster & harmonically relevant speeds. This is one of twenty-two such samples that i layered together to make a new sample, which became the foundation for this binaural beat meditation track: https://soundcloud. I hold a carbonated can to my microphone and open it in two motions, one to release the pressure, and the other to open the hole the rest of the way. This was a 12oz (355ml) standard soda can (specifically moxie) held in my hand a few inches from the mic, with some slight ambient humming removed in audacity afterward.

One of a series of heavily processed sounds of me ripping various objects off a sticky surface. I ran the original recordings through s-layer, the sample-mangling plugin from twisted tools, layering and sculpting the sounds into short impulses that are suitable for ui sound design.

Kinda self-explanatory, the 8-bit bleeps and bloops from playing a video game. Recorded like this, it was kinda ridiculous but very fun:my laptop when i was playing that little dinosaur game that loads when your page doesn't load -> 1/8" to rca cable -> used one of the rca outputs -> rca to 1/4" adapter -> scarlett 2i2 -> protools.

A request fulfillment for djkasamyo. One octave plus a few on two different synths i made that i thought might fit the bill of what you're looking for. At the end of each play through is the opening riff of the song i modeled this off of, at your request. If you have any critique, let me know.

This is not the most traditional bamba i could remember, but be sure it's really a good one. Laura cambrón, a californian native, is the singer. She also composed the lyrics, this time dedicated to the great césar chávez. Recorded in san francisco, ca. April 1, 2011. I used a h2 zoom.

This is a snippet of perth's majestic bird life. The birds that feature in this recording are black cockatoos, and it was taken at the kensington bushland reserve at dusk. These birds are tribal, have incredible energy, and are extremely communicative, and hearing them squawk is one of my favourite parts of living here.

A piece of pump organ improvisation with very little harmonic movement, but much space for the "breathe" of the instrument and the superposition (german schwebung) between the tones, the tones that swing between the tones in different time and tones. Excuse my english, i hope one can still understand. P. S. Start and ending must probably cut off :-).

Sounds from a steam-train, squeaking and rattling inside with no additional passenger sounds (no one else was in that coach). The recording starts with the train approaching in the station and the squeaking of the brakes and the hiss of the steam. This particular train goes up and down the "brocken" in the harz, germany.

A sound i thought i could hear in my mind and i thought i might be able to find, but decided to go out and create this one. We went out and literally hit metal rulers against a metal staircase handrail, and then went into audacity and reverberated a copy underneath the sound, and tweaked it a bit to add the lasting effect.

This is a file that uses multiple files from this website put into one. I wanted to make a semi realistic gunfight and found a few clips to use. There is a lot of gunfire in the beginning. A quarter or halfway through the audio, the gunfire peters out to a few weapons and background noise firing with the occasional sniper fire.

An alarm inspired by the utsuho reiuji one in touhou 11/12. 3! this might have been done with a vst called ice cream but that's only because i hear some suggestions of a tritone in there. (i made this a while ago. ) in any case, it appears to be the result of noodling around in mixcraft 6!.

Futuristic mechshop atmosphere created inside flstudio with filtered white noise generators, flstudio wasp, pitch envelopes, channel gain automation plus lashings of reverb for effect. Each one of the nonsensical announcements at the start are entirely synthetic. They're text to speech, done on-the-fly, with pre-fader pitch modulation embedded in automation track. No synths were harmed in the making of this cacophany.

Blowing your nose: a very subtle sound but one that stays true to the common flue. You can hear the tissue crinkling when used, the slight sniffles and also the air escaping the man’s nose. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg in a recording studio. This sound is great to pull focus to someone’s illness.

A simple chromatic sfx i made for a title screen. Can be used for power-ups, jumps or other ideas. Normally would strictly be an 8 bit sound, but with the reverb it can pass for something from the snes era. This is part one of two. The next file is the same thing with a higher pitch.

A few years ago we found it in the corner of a half-abandoned courtyard of one of the houses located on the main avenue of the city. Even then it looked bad. I'm sure there's nothing left of it now. Perhaps these sounds are the only evidence of its existence. Fragment 4/4.

Privatedareno2 - 3patches - 3min. A challenge kindly started by alienxxx \(^_^)/. Patch 1: the patch that was… a patch i did yesterday. Got that one for free, so to speak. Patch 2: inspired by distant airplanes. Had this in mind. Now i patched up my idea. The wind (or what you decide to call it) is controlled by alm pip slope. New module – for me. Used an external effect, the zoom ms-70cdr. Patch 3: read about feedback. I decided to do a feedback patch. First i made one using oscillators, but i did not manage to do something nice. So i used filters. The first filters feedback is generating triggers. Oh, yes, and i used my sampler (soundmachines ul1uloop). So three patches. I merged/mixed them together in audacity. All sound unedited. Just normalized and i have applied fade in/out – and mixed them together - as written.

Production step :this sound is from a sound recording of a key hiting an iron bar. I take just one sound from my reccording and copy/paste in a new track. I amplify the sound and do a low pass filter. I copy paste my track and create another one just above. I move this new track for create a gap between the two tracks. On the second track i supress some of the beat for create a rythm. On the second track i change the pitch, for making a sound more high-pitched. Description :this sound looks like the ring of a bell tower. The rythm change every two bars who makes him unique and not settled. This sound is, for me, a reference of the track begining of dark techno music. Typologie de schaeffer :. Besides being an inspiration since man first explored her, the ancient mississippi river is also a highway for many coal-carrying barges. For this recording my zoom h4n was on the soft, powdery sandy bank about 60 feet from the river…you hear the gentle, but powerful thrumming of the giant diesel engines as a huge, 200 foot barge passes by. Some notable natural sounds are a very clear red-wing blackbird at 20 seconds in, and again at one mine in and again at one-minute 13 seconds into it. You hear a wonderful, clear splash at 27 seconds into as well. Recording made around 4pm on a warm -- 80 degrees -- june day. Close your eyes, dig into the powdery, soft sand of the mississippi river bank and float away on a warm summer day.

One of the most haunting sounds that i have ever captured. I got on the bus one day and didn't notice anyone on there when i sat down, and then a few moments later, i started hearing this sound. I was confused as to what to do. Do i turn around and look at this laugh-er in the face? what would a person laughing like this do to me if i looked at them? how could a person even laugh like this? it doesn't sound physically possible. As more and more people got on the bus, i saw nobody looking in his direction either. Am i maybe imagining this sound? is there a tiny many laughing in my head?. Upon leaving the bus, i looked back and couldn't tell who must have made the sound, but regardless, it still literally shakes me a bit hearing this audio. . . . Recorded with an android phone and edited in audacity.

These are two guitar solo outtakes from a guest guitar session i was asked to be on. They essentially wanted that early era slayer vibe where there is more cacophonous noise than structure. I think i recorded 15-20 for two sections in one song. They chose two other files and this was the one i liked best to keep as a memento. I am the creator and owner of the audio contained within the file. I know guitarists these days want to sound like an andy sneap plugin, but this may give someone a different idea. Within the context of the song they were for they fit well. I'm not apologizing for the playing or quality of the recording. Just something i did for a friend that took me 4x as long to set up than total time under the red light. It was fun.

It's an all synthetized sound created on audacity. I wanted to recreat the sound of an ovni, but not one that makes people scared : like there is only one alien in this ovni but it seems pretty nice. I started by created a new audiotrack, then i generated chirps and keeping the default values. Then i duplicated the track and made a stereo track of both. I add wahwah effect on the track, changing and modulate the different default values (for example, highest dept and a lot of resonance). After, i add phaser affect on the whole track to make the sound a little bit more spacial. Then i normalized the track. Last, i raised the speed twice by 2. Then i saved and export my sound. ______________________________________________. D'après moi c'est un son répété formant un groupe tonique, au timbre harmonique acide,au grain lisse et dynamique.

My recording "fizzy water" is much better than this version. Please use it, not this one. I made a video recording of a glass of carbonated water in a tall glass, using an ipad. Then i played it back and recorded it using a zoom h2 stereo recorder. So it got processed through the different media. It produces a nice fizzy sound that some people will find useful.

Voice samples for video games i made for a tigsource game competition using audacity. They're made to be chopped up and as flexible as possible for a video game. This one is of a male hero type character. The sample includes no words, just vocalizations like grunts, eating sounds, and hit sounds.

This is the sound of metal dock posts being driven in during maintenance at a marina in vancouver, canada. They pounded some of them a hundred times without out any obvious movement. This is a recording of seven consecutive hits. There is a lot of echo after each strike with the slight sound of rattling chains after each one.

Here's one from a series of 'clang' sounds, great for impact moments in trailers & commercials, or to layer up with other sounds. They are somewhat high-pitch, so they might mix well with low frequency drums and impact sounds. Recorded with tascam dr-40 built-in-mics, by hitting a railing with a pipe in a stairwell and adding a little bit more reverb in daw.
