The small speaker was plugged by alligator clamps in a 9v battery. After that i've processed the sounds a bit with a pinch of reverb, delay and some compression.

A short (but somewhat loopable) recording from an animal shelter of cats and kittens mewling/meowing as loudly as they can with dogs barking in the background. These are cries of, "pay attention to me!" and not of physical distress beyond the need to be touched and played with.

Fireworks- recording fireworks is really strange. There are two distinct things going on with fireworks- the sound of the explosion, and the powerful physical impact our bodies feel when all that sound energy reaches us. Thing is, the mics don’t have any way of capturing that physical impact; they can only record the pop sound of the initial explosion. So what ends up on tape? honestly, it doesn’t sound much different than popping popcorn in your kitchen. Even with my good mics, i think i had to boost the low end a little bit in this recording to make it actually sound more like fireworks than popcorn. But judge for yourself. Nady stereo condenser microphonefocusrite saffire pro24 interfacelogic 8 on a macbook pro4th of july fireworks over mission bay, sandiego.

I used made up words and a made up melody to create a sad, wistful, ethereal sounding song. Towards the end, the character is dying so the breath gets more halted and i was hoping people could hear the physical and mental pain. There is a lightness and sadness about it. I hope you like it!.

bitch - how easily we use the word. Maybe i should leave it at that, but it wasn't from my partner. One learns the necessity of being able to defend oneself, especially if female and not physically large. In an old movie called "road house," patrick swayze said, "gimme the biggest guy in the world, if you smash his knee, he'll drop like a stone. ". There are other defenses that have essentially the same effect.

A drain after a water flow: the water seems to build up a physical-mechanic surface tension kept mass in the tube, opens and closes this bubble-entity producing a specific rhythm in the plughole resp. The drainage pipe. It pulses with various plops and splashs, starts off with a firework kind of beat but then one hears a differentiated rhythm of 4-strokes sequences with slugs before these etc. Getting slower. Many minutes later it ends (beyond this track). The (hearable) cut is just the censorship of a small abortive piece -- left in to document the recording as recording.

Inserting, reading, launching a program, and ejecting a dvd-r in a usb disc drive (repackaged "hp dvdram gu90n" laptop drive) with the occasional rumble of a 2tb 7200rpm internal hard drive (in an enclosure) and mouse clicks. Computer fan may be audible in background. Contains seek noises. Recorded on blue yeti in omnidirectional mode and denoised in rx 8 (drive whine re-enhanced though as noise removal made it quieter). Labels added to audio in fl studio edison.

One of the most haunting sounds that i have ever captured. I got on the bus one day and didn't notice anyone on there when i sat down, and then a few moments later, i started hearing this sound. I was confused as to what to do. Do i turn around and look at this laugh-er in the face? what would a person laughing like this do to me if i looked at them? how could a person even laugh like this? it doesn't sound physically possible. As more and more people got on the bus, i saw nobody looking in his direction either. Am i maybe imagining this sound? is there a tiny many laughing in my head?. Upon leaving the bus, i looked back and couldn't tell who must have made the sound, but regardless, it still literally shakes me a bit hearing this audio. . . . Recorded with an android phone and edited in audacity.

**warning**: do not play this sound with full volume on speakers with an amplifier; you risk damaging the driver through exertion. Format: wav - 24 bit, 44. 1khz [mono] - loopabledescription:a 30 second long pure sine wave of 14hz, at a constant spl level of -5 decibels. The audio file is loopable with a coherent crossing point from end to beginning. If you would like to read up on the infrasound phenomenon go here:http://goo. Gl/gmbsvm. Methodology:synthesis generation in sound forge pro macosx. -------------. This can be used for experimental purposes. I used infrasound in a horror film; attempting to create a physical sense of terror with the motion picture at specific times. It is believed by some that a high enough amplitude of infrasound can be used as a weapon. -------------. If you like or dislike this sound, please comment on your thoughts :). Reminder:this sound is licenced under cc0 [public domain] - so you are free to use and abuse it. I wouldn't mind a credit though if you're feeling generous. . .
