This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.

I wanted to make a sound effect for a game i'm developing, and so i recorded a 100-mm artillery cannon at camp williams (utah national guard), then modified the sounds using audacity. The recording was done on an olympus digital recorder in the mid-2000s (first decade). It sounded a little to me like the tribute cannon from hunger games (the sound effect that signals the deaths of the tributes), thus the name.

A czech guy named "staney the robot man" who lives in prague build this little synth. It's completely handmade and consists of a bunch of analog circuitry that when powered creates strange oscillations in current. It's also built into a seseame street toy saxophone. This set sounds like a robot talking. If chopped up and sequenced you could do a lot with it.

This sound was very simple to make. I just took the sound of an opera singer singing a scale and added reverb to it. Nothing more, nothing less. An ambient recording in may 2022 of a farm in rhinebeck, upstate new york. I wish i could name the animals that can be heard on here, there are all manner of frogs and birds in the area (blue jays, mockingbirds etc) alas i am not a native. There is a continuous whine throughout the recording which is a distant water pump - i suspect that, if desirable the frequency could be excluded with a bit of parametric eq.

This is reminiscent of the sound playing in friday the 13th pt. 2 when jenny puts on pamela vorhees old sweater and pretends to be her in an attempt to trick jason.
