Old sound i uploaded years ago and never described until now. Software made, using addictive drums with a lot of reverb effects, subatomic vst, gort's minipiano soundfont. Plugins used: camelphat3, camelspace, black_box, bouncing ball delay, ambience, and a bunch of stock fl studio reverbs, eq's and delays.

Another very old production, i think this one's from around 2009 even!. Using the reverb of a chord i made on my guitar i created a drone-y, washed out sound. Added some subtle bitcrushed drums, cymbals and a vst synthesizer plays some notes to fill it out a bit, and a dark brooding bass-like instrument pulls up near the end of the track.

Note: audio quality is always better when downloaded. Field recording made in a forest in russia, near yekaterinburg. Recorded 31. 07. 20 on tascam dr-05x.

It's not rain but sounds like rain - fog and damp settling in the trees as a breeze blows. Recorded in the fields above my home in the fog and damp - so sounds amplified and 'hollow'. Recorded using a sennheiser mke300 'shotgun' mic. Cropped in audacity; and saved as aif file. Rustling leaves can also be made out. Feel free to hash it, mash it and trash it. Use it as you wish. Recorded on oct 29 2012 at 96k/24bit with a rode ntg-3 into a zoom h4n. I was recording wind ambience as hurricane sandy was currently swirling around. Along this bike trail i found this wooden ramp. Upon standing on it i realized it moved! and better yet it made some pretty cool creaking sounds!.

This break beat was made from freesound percussion hits, with some percussive hits from sound generators in fruity loops studio which was used to sequence and then quite heavily compressed in realtime, with seperate effects applied to the kicks and snares. Recorded out wav at 44khz 16bit stereo ~ 140bpm.

The raw version of this sample was made by hitting my knuckle on a metal sculpture of an aircraft. De-clipped and de-noised just slightly using izotope rx. Verb, eq and comp in logic pro 8 + plugins. Recorded using the spectrumview iphone app. Sample rate = 48ksample size = 24 bit.

This is a recording (made with an iphone) of a bird with a cool call. I have no idea what bird it is. . . I'm not an expert on those things. Xd. The cool call starts a few seconds in. :). There is a little background noise (someone digging with a shovel and some wind). Feel free to use this sound however you wish. . . No attribution required, though i'd appreciate it if you did! :). A 1khz wave, often used as an effect for a flatline, test pattern, censorship, etc. This one more for effect (such as a movie) than a test tone. There's a nice stereo effect to make it more exciting, made by producing it as a sine wave for the left channel and a triangle for the right. The sine wave is at a slightly lower volume to make the 1khz fundamental the same volume level in both channels.

Ever wandered through a spanish street market? the sound will be familiar to — very possibly all too familiar! this recording was made so close to the offending mechanical toy, that it has even picked up the noises of the mechanism itself. There is a small amount of background noise. Seemingly unnecessary period of silence included is the exact cause before the next outburst of squeaking. I made a good comparison to jacksepticeye's videos and what happens in his house. Took about an hour to make because i was repeatedly adding 250% more gain to the intro(on audio mass) but i added so much that when i downloaded it it came out sounding like just static so i added way less gain. I recommend going to audiomass. Com to try this out if you like.

Playing tabletennis on a nice sunny day at a playground in leipzig. The table is pretty old and made out of metal and concrete. The net is out of metal. Sometimes the ball hits it with a "pong". Recorded with a zoom h2 in 360-mode. Edited the mics pointing to the table a liitle louder and used very little noise reduction to reduce the wind noises a bit. Kids roaming around and the balls are flying! *sigh* i love those days.

Made this alien screech sound using adobe audition, taking some horse sounds, reversing them, and adding some effects. Sounds very alien. Feel free to use it however you like. Noise left after dithering and phase canceling a tone. A tone was created with audacity's tone generator. Another version of the tone was made by downsampling and dithering the original tone in ableton live. I then phase cancelled the two sounds by switching the polarity of one of the tones and blending them back together in audacity. Because of the phase canceling, none of the original tone can be heard. Only the noise added during dithering remains.

I whipped up this wacky reinterpretation of the twilight zone intro while doing a sound design concept. Bought a piece of 12"x24"x22awg copper sheet metal last week and was fascinated by the warble noises it made when i picked it up out of the box. Recording: easy voice recorder (android) on a samsung s7. Post-processing: 2-pass noise removal with audacity due to fluorescent light hum and other background noise.
