A combination of a variety of arrow sounds at different intervals and landing in wood. Used as an effect of archers laying down a group of arrows on pirate ship.
This is the sound of a our cat munro, as she reclines on the couch in the evening. She is purring and laying on her back, curious about the microphones, but (for a change) not overloading my inputs by touching them with her nose as she purrs.

Strange noise that emanated from a barn that was being built on the somerset/wiltshire border. Possibly created by the machine laying the flooring. Also wind, some distant traffic, birdsong.

- contact mic was attached to the soft plastic box which was laying on the table- the surface of the box was being touched quickly with different pressure- the sound was recorded with pocket roland recorded put in from of the speaker.
A pack of lightly salted lays chips was used. The chips were chewed on very hard and made a satisfying crunchy sound inside the mouth. The sound was recorded with a zoom h6, using the xy capsule, in a normal room in a house.
Another recording of baby sounds, laughs, cries, and other sounds. . But at this time without any editing. . . There are some loud noises that comes from the bed where the baby was laying. . . But some sounds are ok. . . Scrub and find them!.

Recorded with a single rode nt1-a microphone. I am not sure what these men were doing but there were some scraping/dragging sounds on the roof outside my window. There are many aeroplanes where i live but i have tried minimising this with some mid-range eqing.

This kind of wasp is building individual nests made out of mud. Then they lay an egg inside of each one and brings a reserve of food in it for the future larvae. This is the sound of the female wasp working on its mud coccoon. Recorded on a tascam dr-40 with a rode ntg-1.
I recorded my voice, layed it out on the track and increased the pitch quite drastically. I layered this with a chirp track so as to contrast the downward rhythm with an upward one. Birds singing in my backyard, with some people talking and children playing at the playground, traffic noises in the background; recorded with a cheap mono electret microphone (sorry!) - just what i had laying around at the moment. Hope someone finds if useful :).
I've used a lot of sounds from this site over the years so i thought it was about time i gave something back:). Field recording on h4n zoom recorder as a concrete was spayed against the wire frame of our in ground pool. This has been normalized, equalized and compressed in audacity.
