So this is the midi version of the rough draft done in guitar. Will be recording it at a later point this year hopefully (or maybe around january). Time will tell.
Starting a lamborghini huracán evo spyder. Recorded on a tascam dr-07 with the internal mics. There are some kids in the background later on, but the startup should be clean. . . --.
My grandfather ordererd this "sample pack" in the early 60s and we discovered the tape over 50 years later and used the sounds in the song "zertretene sandburgen".
Fender stratocaster squire with plectrums stuck between the strings. Recorded directly into the mic input of zoom h2. Experimenting with effects caused by the plectrums stuck in there. Later i am bowing the guitar.
First page of "The Levee Song," later known as "I've Been Working On The Railroad," as published in Carmina Princetonia: The Princeton Song Book (1898)
The wind howling through an old window. Very spooky. Recorded in mono, but later i added a "stereo" pan to it, which i now regret. Just play the sample in mono and it will be fine.
Frogs in a pound at night. Only a few at the biginig, more later. The a plane is tearing the air. France, summer 2012. Recorded with schoeps ab ortfrecorded on sounddevice 744t24 bits, 48khz, stereo.
Sound of a whitethroat singing in spring. This recording was then played back to the bird seconds later, and this secretive warbler flew out of cover towards me, and began to sing right next to me.
I recorded dripping or gulching water into a bucket with old newspapers. Made this to combine and edit later for ink_splashes. Hope you also find it useful!.
Plucking the rim of an empty wine glass with my finger. Recorded a bunch of samples then isolated the ones i liked into this file. Left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. While all the samples were initially recorded at 16-bit 44100hz, some of the later ones compiled into this wav were accidentally saved at 8-bit and have gathered some noise as a result. All samples recorded using a blue yeti microphone. Used audacity's noise removal filter to to remove background noise. Attribution appreciated but not required.
Electronic drumloop extracted from a song that originally includes "asdsdasd. Wav" too but that particular synth pattern was later used in another song, but in a bit modified composition.
