Here's another loop created with my experimental one string dulcimer using an old casstte player head as a pickup. This one's a long ambient loop that can be used as a backing track or chopped up. This is a sound effect of me pumping one of those hand pumps used to hold water or cleaner for spraying. My pumping causes pressure that makes the water bubble (which you can hear in the sound). I created this 64 bar loop in bitwig using a sample loop that comes free with the software, next i used a multiband fx plugin with automation controlling amounts and cutoff's which then in turn had various effects on the seperate bands and as you can clearly hear i used the glitch2 vst mostly on the mid frequencies, which in turn had automation controlling/changing it's presets.

There is a vent in my house that sounds fantastic when it rains. The drops hitting the tin cover sound almost like popping popcorn in this recording, but it's a more friendly sound in person. The rain outside is very much present in the background, but the bouncing raindrops are very easy to hear. Recorded on a windows x8 phone and left as-is. I needed a good indoor fish tank for an office scene i was working on, and made one out of these sounds. You can hear the bubbles protruding from the tubes of the tank and the hum of the pump. A small park in higashi-koenji, tokyo at dusk. There are some university aged kids drinking and smoking in the background. I wanted to record the fountain sound as well, but the fountain had already been turned off. You can hear some bird, rustling of the wind in the trees and traffic in the distance. Recorded with a pair of mics at 120 degrees.

It's a sound you usually can hear in a horror movie. It makes your blood freeze if it wasn't ice already. It has medium attack and very long decay. The sound's timbre is similar to what a metal gong could do when hit inside a cathedral. Synthesized with zynaddsubfx inside lmms. Rendered as 96khz/32-bit. Edited and normalized in audacity.

Recorded using jez riley french contact microphones, on a windy day on the south coast of england. I connected a pair of contact microphones to different parts of a metal fence and let the wind do the rest. Starts off gently and gradually the intensity increases as the wind picks up. You can hear the fence rattling and a ambient drone of the wind blowing.

Channeling the /dev/sda1 hard drive partition into a file. At last i've imported the raw file properly as the 8-bit unsigned linear pcm. This is 8bit mono 44100 hz windows wave. Lots of strange digital sounds. Quite useful for noise and experimental musicians. Interesting that if we just do cat /dev/sda1 > /dev/dsp we hear different sound more like modem 56k. I also made a record of it. See my files.
