A cartoonish sound of feet scrambling or pattering at a fast run. Could also be used for a tumbling sound. Was created by having a medium-sized dog chase a tennis ball down a flight of stairs.

An edited version of freesound #162268 by eneaszthe intervals between the dog running are removed. It came out surprisingly well. No skipping or clipping or any of that whatsoever. As this is the very second sound effect i've ever uploaded, i could benefit from feedback. I encourage people to rate and comment, and if you use this sound effect for something, don't be afraid to link it in the comments. I'd love to see what people use this for.

I recorded my toy fox terrier with a zoom h2. The dog was very active and excited about eating, running around, sniffing and making other interesting dog sounds.

Any thursday. . . It was about 1:00 am and i got my handy recorder zoom h4n with me. Then i realized i found very few sounds here at freesound. Org of steps for videogames. . . So i decided to record some. They have "so much personality", with keys in the pockets (you can notice them on the run), a dog barking when i run, and the sound of the street at night. It may not be 100% clean (for example, wind affects a little to the beggining of the run), but i think it's enough to emulate a videogame in a short film or something. I turn around once when dog is barking, you can notice the bark panning from left to right channel.

If i try to run past this dog's protected yard, he'll come right out onto the road and attack. I've had to mace him twice already. If i walk past and display my mace, he'll let me pass, but he always does this. I'd rather mace the owner, but i can't get him to come out on the road. . .

I was playing with my mixed-breed dog, mia, the other day, and so recorded her doing things. Running around, barking, panting, etc. Sorry for the handleing noise and other unwanted noises you might find throughout the recording; i didn't even plan to record but then i thought why not, so i was unprepared. I have been in my bathroom, and i started the water running. After i shut it down the faucet started making crazy noises. I than run for my recorder and i have captured that crazy modem-connection type of sound. All happened on 14th of october 2020. You can hear my unstable breath and my dog "focus" (i love him) barking in the background.

Useful for i think a monster or something like your stamina running out i don't know knock yourself out with it. Recorded with an insignia microphone by putting a dog toys squeaker into the microphone and editing it with audacity.

My dog growls when you go anywhere near him while he is eating, i noticed he seems to leave a little bit of food so he could run to it and growl (perform) when i came downstairs later on. So, i placed a condenser mic on his bowl and recorded him in 96k 24bit. I will no doubt use this in a short film and it's here for use by others too. This is a field recording from my friend walker's yard in las cruces, nm that i made on a band tour in may 2006. There is a horse running by on the road at one point and some dogs in the background, but the morning doves stand out the most and sound really beautiful at points. My small dog was running around outside and got pretty hot. When i brought her in, she began lapping up water at a fast pace. She's also a little sniffly so it got some nice sniffle noises in there too. I feel like this could work well for plenty of different character shots, from a monster, to a comedy-type shot of someone eating something like noodles, to a dog drinking water in an animation.
