6-minute clip of a thunderstorm with sweeping rainfall in the grass and trees of my back yard in northern colorado. Sounds of annoyed crows and grackles can be heard periodically in the distance, and the ambient sound of water through the gutters and downspouts is also prevalent. Recorded with a tascam dr-60d and two behringer xm1800s dynamic mics. Post processed with amplification and mid eq boost in audacity.

The ambience takes place in a forest near madrid, on october, 2015. The sound is the reproduction of footsteps of a runner approaching. The effect that is produced is like a doppler effect, but i didn't change the recording. I recorded it with a zoom h4n. The sound can be used as a background resource. I wanted to capture tramp of feet on gravel moving away, as a typical sound to be used in stories.

I select a part of the recording and created an echo effect with reverberations. This sound can be used in an enclosed area with the goal of focus on it, as a clear mark that something important is being opened or revealed.

I was playing around trying to create a different sound when i accidentally created this sound which reminded me of a rocket flying by. I thought it might be useful and uploaded it. bruxxing is when a rodent grinds its teeth. Sometimes it can be quite loud. It may seem like a sign of aggression, but it's actually their way of showing they are content. My boys will often brux for lengths of time, but unfortunately i could only catch this little bit. Also, they do this thing called "boggling," which is when their eyes seem to be popping from their sockets. As strange as it looks, it means they're really happy.

Opening the back doors: first the storm door and then the main door. Main door closes followed by the storm door. Back door has a slight squeak. The glass-screen door is moderated by a hydraulic door closer which you can breifly hear hiss before the door slams shut. Recorded on a windows x8 phone and cleaned up in audacity. There are many ways to "listen" to a computer. The high frequencies are miles from what a human can hear, so you must divide and mix until you hear the computer "speaking". This one: simply placed the am mf coil close to a data cable to a pci slot. The sharp noise is not noise, but clock signals which are divided x times the rattling is caused by every move with the mouse.

I noticed one night my broken metallic glass screen door was making quite a ruckus in the wind. I grabbed my zoom h1 and a roll of duct tape and taped it to the interior portion of the door. Sounds like space ambience/a sci-fi space station. Did this today while messing around in audacity. This sound was created by blowing into a microphone while slowly changing pitches. Afterwards i slowed down the sound, added the baseboost filter, and lowered the pitch of the sound. Feel free to use this with or without giving credit to me, i really don't care. All the rides are working, some early customers are milling around, you can hear german "schlager"-music playing and a spooky voice beckoning people to the haunted house ride. This recording was made with an iphone 4s fitted with a tascam condenser stereo microphone in an asian restaurant in bern. We hear the sound of the restaurant with people eating and chatting while the open kitchen is busy washing and preparing dishes. One of the bus boys is singing to himself, which can be heard dimly and at some point a bell strikes a few times.

I needed a quick fix for a bomb sound effect, and i think i made this one okay. Honestly, i just went "pkhoooooo" into my laptop mic, bass boosted it, slowed it down, pitched it down, and ran it through a low-pass filter in audacity. Here goes that couple again. This is another day time one so they weren't making as much noises as they usually would. They were going at it for at least 15 minutes and kept it real quiet.
