A montain bike breaking on concrete. Recorded with a pentax k5 and an audio technica pro 24-cm stereo microphone at 16bit/32khz. Slightly edited in audacity in order to reduce major peaks (by hand, no plugin) and to improve the headroom.

The sound of a drinking glass or bottle being dropped or otherwise destroyed in a distant room. Can also be used for something like bullet impacts or vehicle collisions.

A handful of spaghetti cracked into half. I don't know how to use this but often an injury in film foley is just breaking a celery or something else. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. I made this using the drum break of funky drummer by james brown.

A setting on my toy keyboard called "pearl drop" shifted two octaves down (shifting this far down made the sound just start to break up in a glitchy sounding way).

Breaking or snapping multiple wooden twigs or sticks at once, recorded using a self written app on my samsung galaxy phone, converted from mpeg v4 to mp3 using online-audio-converter. Com.

4 breaks, back to back written with free individual percussive samples, then sequenced together in free tracker program, jeskola buzz. Enjoy :).

A small piece put together for my audio design production module.

To make this series of sounds, i blended a bunch of samples together, some recorded on my go-to usb mic, some synthesized in ableton. I thought they fit together nicely vs being isolated pieces. This sample is part of my halloween 2021 pack. As with all my previous uploads to freesound, this sample is dedicated to the public domain. Enjoy!.
