I have been in my bathroom, and i started the water running. After i shut it down the faucet started making crazy noises. I than run for my recorder and i have captured that crazy modem-connection type of sound. All happened on 14th of october 2020. You can hear my unstable breath and my dog "focus" (i love him) barking in the background.

My neighbour is working at the second floor. Metal hit, pushing heavy stuff, crackings and vibrations by some human body mass at the old wood floor. In the second plan, we can hear passing a train and some cars. Quiet atmosphere with singular acoustic, like a sunday's work.

This is a file that uses multiple files from this website put into one. I wanted to make a semi realistic gunfight and found a few clips to use. There is a lot of gunfire in the beginning. A quarter or halfway through the audio, the gunfire peters out to a few weapons and background noise firing with the occasional sniper fire.

Digital noise made from raw binary files extracted from hdd with hexplorer using raw import function in audacity. Files were 4, each made from 200 sectors. I modified each sound using filters and joined them together to make longer looping example. Good to use in a game or 3d video animation as background ambient noise. Audacity and hexplorer are freeware and you can make similar job with them. . .

The local library has a printer whose noise i thought was quite unique. I forgot to record it the first time, so the second time i checked out books i made sure to record it. An long escalator i recorded in atlanta. The escalator was very noisy, and produced a kind of whining electrical sound that sounded almost spiritual. I do not know if the transcendent beauty of the escalator is captured sufficiently here, but i figured someone might be able to use it! there are a few faint voices in the background.

This recording is made not of the falls but of the water right before the falls, so you can hear the roar of the falls in the background, but the recording is dominated by the sound of the river approaching them. I made the recording on the brazilian side of the falls, if that makes any difference to you.
