This is the forth part of four sounds of a cessna 152. Here is the approch and the landing. At about 0’30’’, we car ear the engine slowdown and at 4’03’’ the flaps deployment. The touch down on grass runway is at 9’57’’. Recorded on 2017/10/21 around the namur aero club with an olympus ls 100.

Recorded in an almost empty train on a fairly even route section at a quite constant velocity, sitting in a cabin for six passengers with five empty seats, compartment door closed at around 8 pm. Recorded with a portable stereo recorder (zoom) set to 96000 hz and 24 bit.

Ever get thaat bored you recorded a washing machine? yyuurp!. As an engineer i find this quite interesting. . . Published spin speeds and all that. Also, the zoom is clearly getting some rf interference, most audible around 1:12 to 1:16. The zoom is battery powered. This is a duplicate of the flac upload that appeared to fail but maybe didn't.

Footsteps in the snow after a recent snowfall in january 2018. About a minute of walking in the snow with boots. This is the original m4a file, there is a converted mp3 file available that is the same recording with a different format if you don't want to mess around with conversions.

A recording of myself doing some "creative tuning" willy-nilly around the available spectrum of "websdr at raf hack green", 3/11/13; trying to keep things interesting, yet not lingering too long anywhere in particular, and avoiding rather than seeking intelligibility of the various broadcasters. Some bits reminded me of ben burtt's "droid/alien chatter" material.

This is a field recording i did on the morning (around 5-6 am) of may 20, 2020 in tenney park, madison wisconsin. It is a 2 minute recording of a bird colony. A bird expert told me they were probably purple martins, and there is a redwing blackbird chirping in the background. Recorded with shotgun microphone.

You can hear people in the park next to york minster chatting, walking, laughing and there's distant city noises. Then, around halfway through the recording the bells start to ring out for midday. Something i accidentally got while messing around with voxal voice changer by nch software. It was a background noise of my mom closing a door, and i decided to put it in reverse and i couldn't help but notice that it sounded like a low "whoosh" transition. So i opened it in wavepad and added echo + reverb and voila.

It's the 80s and i'm about half-way through making a punk/new wave party mix tape when my turntable starts repeating itself. Unwilling to to back and re-record the mix, i batted the needle around on the record for half a second and stopped the tape. This is the part that isn't recognizable as "hey, st. Peter!".

Vinyl-like sounds coming from my old guitar(cheap stratocaster imitation) connected directly into the mic input of my pc with an adapter, the volume and tone knobs, and the five way switch make a similar noise but way more louder; which can be heard around the end, the audio is compressed with the compressor from ableton live 9.

An alarm inspired by the utsuho reiuji one in touhou 11/12. 3! this might have been done with a vst called ice cream but that's only because i hear some suggestions of a tritone in there. (i made this a while ago. ) in any case, it appears to be the result of noodling around in mixcraft 6!.

Was testing my rene sequencer with elements, processed through. . . . . . Of course the o. G clouds indeed ;). The clock for rene was ironically taken from the particles of braids( literally from the output of braids xd) and also the wogglebug( at ultra slow internal clock rate). I was just messing around rene as it just arrived soo,that's taht i guess lol.

-cute and interesting tweaked synth "semi-vocal" sound making a sweet and moderately complex arpeggio-type melody at around 100 bpm. -could be used as intro or maybe the drop. -i think it would fit well in the electronica and dubstep genre, but use it as you please!.

I had no idea what to call this, i was just messing around with a few riffs while recording so here you go! yes there is a bit of "the trooper" by iron maiden in there lol idk why it just kind of came out while i was doin the power chord thing because i didn't know where to go next.

It's a 15-minute long drum improvisation. It contails a lot of different beats and rhythms played so you might cut-out some loops for your needs. The kit has:- single kick- snare- hihat- 3 toms- broken crash that sounds really short- ride. The kit was old and not in perfect condition. I also used my sticks to play on some other part of the drumkit, like metal stand for the crash etc. I also got up and stated running around in a circle hitting sticks together and afterwards hitting drums and cymbals while running around the drumkit. I took my shoes off before i started so you can't hear my footsteps. I didn't use a metronome and i know i don't hold the tempo and it's a bit wiggly sometimes. I think this performace was inspired by band mr. Bungle. I recorded this with zoom h2 handy recorder's front stereo xy mics. It was standing on a table about one meter above the floor. Facing the drumkit and me. It was captured into a 48khz/24-bit wav file, then i trimmed the ends and converted this to flac using audacity. No processing applied, though i think it sounds nicer when you put these effects:. 1. A compressor:-attack: 10ms-release: 50ms-ratio: 2. 5:1-treshold: around -24db2. One of my favorite summer and late-summer sounds. The night-hawk is the star of this recording. This recording was made around 9pm at night in mid-august and, even though i never could see this nighthawk, his calls pierced through the night-sky to let me know he was up there, somewhere, orbiting on the prowl for mosquitos and other insects. I have always loved this sound ever since i was a kid and going to sleep at night i felt comforted knowing that, like some circling fighter jet, the nighthawks would be on the job, plowing down the population of mosquitos, while i slept all night. Recording actually made in the parking lot of a major midwest university around 9pm at night on august 19th, 2014. A complete trip on métro (subway) line 9 of the paris subway system, from the alma-marceau station to the havre-caumartin station. Starts with descent into the métro station and ends climbing up the steps back out at the destination. One train is allowed to pass, at about the 1-minute mark, as we wait on the platform, and an announcement giving the times for the next trains can be heard. The ride on the following train begins at around the 2-minute mark. There are two loud sounds between about 9:10 and 9:20 and some loud low-frequency wind noise at around 10:40 (as we leave the métro station and return outside), so beware. I whipped up this wacky reinterpretation of the twilight zone intro while doing a sound design concept. I used a default piano synth, played around by ear and applied aparametric equalizer effect. I'm not much of a musician but it turned out alright! :).

My forklift recorded using my phone at work. I just cut out and muted most of the ambience using goldwave (http://www. Goldwave. Com/) to make it more just the hydraulics. If you cut out sections, scramble them and fool around with the speed in the sound, i think you can get a great variety of pneumatic and robot-sounding sounds out of it.

I was playing with my mixed-breed dog, mia, the other day, and so recorded her doing things. Running around, barking, panting, etc. Sorry for the handleing noise and other unwanted noises you might find throughout the recording; i didn't even plan to record but then i thought why not, so i was unprepared. I made a script in python with three balls bouncing around at different speed. When the ball hits a wall a beep is played. The slowest bass plays a 110hz beep. The middle ball a 220hz beep and the fastest a 440hz beep. Python can’t play two beeps at a time…sort of random “music”… you control the rhythm with the ball speed.

This is me playing around with my various string instruments. I decided to try to create a creepy string texture-ish sound, but it came out sounding like a haunted string orchestra. Another very old production, i think this one's from around 2009 even!. Using the reverb of a chord i made on my guitar i created a drone-y, washed out sound. Added some subtle bitcrushed drums, cymbals and a vst synthesizer plays some notes to fill it out a bit, and a dark brooding bass-like instrument pulls up near the end of the track.

Left the lid of my top loading freezer open, you can hear the hum of the motor and also the crackle of inside the freezer. Messing around with a low or high pass filter can give a nice background white noise. Free for commercial and non commercial use as apart of a creative piece of work. This is a narrated soundwalk in which i walked around the ucla royce quad and narrated the sounds that i heard. Although the sounds are very quiet, the narration should describe them thoroughly. I started by walking away from the main fountain, and into the main area in front of royce hall. By the end of the recording, i was at the front doors of royce hall.

I recorded this for a pinball game i worked on. It's a sound of a marble dropping onto a table and then rolling around for a bit, finishing in the marble dropping into a hole (falling onto the carpet). It's meant to simulate the sound of a pinball being put into play on a pinball table. Enjoy!.

This is my new rotary-valved cornet with german valves and a 1913 holton bell all plated in gold and white rhodium. The sample was recorded in a large church in north carolina. With the help of bill jones i designed this horn and dr. Jones built it. It starts loud at a forte but then plays some quieter phrases around a mezzo piano.

Recorded with a tascam dr-05x with gain at 75% and positioned by an open window. 10:00 am sunday, clear sky, cold with some ground frost. Background distant traffic noise and helicopter appears about halfway through the recording then some people's voices near the end.
