This is a reel for the make noise morphagene. It was created using the chord preset from mutable instruments plaits. The chords gravitate around c. I twiddled the knobs while recording and the results were fed through valhalla shimmer before i cut a few sections up and rearranged the audio to make a reel. Have fun!.

This sound was taking in a very rural area of transilvania having some sheeps grazing in the distance with some bells attached around there neck. At the beginning you can hear also a van passing by.

Golf balls in a bag: in the sound you hear a bunch of golf balls in a plastic grocery bag inside a carry on bag jiggle around. Recorded using the zoomh4n and using the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. No processing was done on the sound. The golf balls are from the brand taylor made and srixon.

Bees buzzing around lavendar on a perfect sunny day in spring in my back yard. Recorded with a rode cardioid mic on a zomm 4h field recorder. Neighbourhood noise more of an ambience than a sound effect.

Various clicks from an aluminum can i crushed that turned out way too awesome not to record. I tried it in various positions around the microphone to give options, but they mostly sound the same. Wav" except here i have limited it with a threshold of 10db, which decreases dynamic range but also makes it louder overall.

Me playing around with some zips and clothing to get various sounds. There are two types of zips recorded. One for a piano bag and one for a recorder case. I was just messing around in audacity, doing some things with a party noise maker sound effect, i slowed it down, put some reverb & echo, messed with the pitch a little bit, and got this! it's supposed to be kinda like "trumpets in the sky" and/or war of the worlds inspired.

Some nice birds and some light rain, recorded at dawn, around 5:00 a. M. A cardinal and a song sparrow predominate. This recording is pretty clean for the suburbs and has few extraneous sounds. -----------2 primo em172 mic capsules -> zoom h1 recorder.

The beach at aldeburgh is made of pebbles so you can hear little of that as i walk around. You can the crashing of the waves against the pebbles and that fizzing noise as the sound dies down and the water recedes from the beach. This was recorded using a zoom h2n in 16-bit. Wav format.

Uploaded on request - a chime that comes from a speaker inside ferrograph branded pis displays when a special message pops up on the screen; most commonly "stand well away", platform alterations or when a correction is made to the train arrival order. Commonly heard around railway stations in the south of england.

For this sound i make a sawtooth tone with a wah wah effect and then i add a phaser to make this spawning sound. To make this sound more sci-fi, i chose to add some reverb to create more space around the sound and a fade out at the end.

Wooden stick: the sound of a wooden stick falling on the floor. It bounces a bit around. Only one stick falling. Recorded with a zoom h6 (rode ntg-2). Recorded in a room with good acoustic. Can be used in the scenario of a drum stick falling down. Or wooded weapon staff.

Paging through a book: here the quick flip of a page can be heard. The air being shoved around can be heard the sharp lifting of a page as well. It consist out of different tempo's to suit the users preferences. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg in a sound studio.

Sweeping beans scattered on the floor onto a plastic dustpan. You can hear the sweeping and then how the beans hit the plastic. It can work for other small objects being swept, like beads, seeds and such. It also kind of sounds like small pieces of wood or plastic rolling around a plastic container.

The call to prayer from several mosques in the marrakech medini. This is the call to prayers at around 12. 30 on thursday 16th december 2015. It was recorded using the asr android application on a sony xperia e6653 mobile phone. I was located on the roof terrace of riad dar zaman in marrakech medina.

Here is a clip i recorded using a canon gl1 and a audiotechnica shotgun mic(unsure of model number, a cheap one i'm sure). The clip contains thesound of me clinking a fork around inside of a bowl (sounds likesomeone eating) and pouring water into a glass as well as a bowl. Thegain might need to be increased as the audio is low.

The beginning of a thunderstorm, from normality to first drops of rain, with approaching thunder, and eventually a full downpour. 1. There are birds picking at seeds on a nearby rooftop, which can be heard before the rain. 2. The birds flutter away just before the rain. 3. The rain starts around the 10 minute mark. 4. Full downpour starts around the 12:11 mark. Recorded on june 08, 2021 from the second floor window of an nyc apartment building, facing the inner-bay. Edited on june 12, 2021 to combine a string of takes, remove construction noise, and noise from within the apartment. This recording was made with the on-board x-y microphone of a zoom h4n pro recording device.

In the 14th century the bubonic plague descimated the population of europe. Men would push around carts collecting the corpses and shouting to bring out your dead for disposal. Recorded on android cell phone voice recorder. Processed with noise removal and slight pitch shift in audacity. This is myself doing some voice acting for my music projects.

Recorded using a pair of rode lavalier microphones from a loft window. The hail stones were hitting the metal flashing (i think that it what it is called) around the window. A very typical recording of late summer as the insects wake up. This recording was done in the backyard in a small town around 5:00 in the morning. Just a wonderful example of the very rhythmic, ebb and flow that these choruses of summer make. I used my zoom h4n recorder with its internal built-in microphones with the volume set on 78. .

Cowbell recorded both being shaken, as well as being struck with a pencil. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in adobe audition cs6. Used audition's noise removal tools to minimize audible background noise. While no others effects have been added, i would recommend using a hard limiter of around 10-20db for a fuller sounding bell. Attribution appreciated but not required.

These sci-fi synth sweeps were created by manipulating white noise with filter sweeps and other effects and then using noise reduction to remove the underlying white noise. You would need to pick through them and cut them up, but they can be useful for sound designing light graphic elements that move around and animate on and off.

During a recent wandering in one of the many woods around me i found this wonderful small creek which, even though small, had a nice flow to it thanks to some recent rain. As i sat down to record the soothing sound of the riffles, a group of chickadees decided to come check me out. Enjoy.

A nice spring soundscape of birds in deep woods. I set my recorder on a sand-bar in the middle of a nice-sized creek, turned on the internal mics on my zoom h4n and just let nature do the talking. Recorded around 11 in the morning on a cloudy 71 degree day.

I recorded some sounds in my school with voices, then i added a percussion record and i made them repeat several times. This make a sound to show that one sound can be louder than an other and make this sound unique. When you talk to someone you heard all noises around you but you really listen to what he is telling you.

A cooking thermometer clinking around a shallow dish filled with water. I was trying to approximate the sound of a straight razor being rinsed off without having an actual straight razor in my possession. Not sure if i achieved that, but there are some interesting little sounds in there. Recorded on a cad u37 microphone into audacity. July 2018.

This is the second part of four sounds of a cessna 152. Here is the take-off and a very small part of the flight around the namur aero club. At about 3’05’’, we can ear the engine slowdown to reach the « cruise rhythm » ( approx. 2200 - 2300 tr/min). Recorded on 2017/10/21 with an olympus ls 100.

I suppose you could say this is a bit science-fictiony. Kinda like background noise if you were alone in an abandoned space station or starship with the sound of machines and whatnot around you. And as an added bonus, it is a perfect loop. Recorded with a yescom pro studio condenser microphone using my own voice. Used audacity for editing.

Recorded on july 10th, 2019, perhaps around 11:30pm in the mountainous woods of chiayi county, meishan township in taiwan. It began drizzling and i thought the sound at night is quite beautiful. Excuse those weird bumps i made during the recording.

This is meant to represent "stopped time starting to move again". It's rough around the edges but with better timing and editing it can make wonders. I put this together from freesound samples years ago for a school project. I unfortunately don't have the sources from back then. Unedite, recorded in a bus with a group of vietnamese female voices talking all at the same time, sounds like arguing. Normal vietnamese speech is in high pitch, loud with short one syllable words. With some editing could be used as a group of aliens speaking around you.

I was messing around with my korg volca keys, and i liked this little section. The only problem is that i believe it only recorded into the left channel for some reason. I don't know why that happened, so unfortunately you will have to correct that, but it should be an easy fix in any sound editing program.
