New zealand native bellbird (korimako). Recorded on kapiti island, a bird sanctuary on the west coast of the north island, nz. Recording was made at some feeder stations set up for the native stitchbird (hihi) but it seems that the bellbird was the predominant species on the day. This is in a light forest setting with a large number of birds moving around calling.

I suppose you could say this is a bit science-fictiony. Kinda like background noise if you were alone in an abandoned space station or starship with the sound of machines and whatnot around you. Qrm listened in am mode on 80 m band in my qth jn79ek. If i use cw mode listening and narrow filter, the qrm is mostly worse. Strength: peaks s9+40 db. Sometimes any traffic impossible. From -41st sec. Of record is possible to heard my tuning around frequency.

This is my new rotary-valved cornet with german valves and a 1913 holton bell all plated in gold and white rhodium. The sample was recorded in a large church in north carolina. With the help of bill jones i designed this horn and dr. Jones built it. It starts loud at a forte but then plays some quieter phrases around a mezzo piano.

It can work for other small objects being swept, like beads, seeds and such. It also kind of sounds like small pieces of wood or plastic rolling around a plastic container.

There are birds picking at seeds on a nearby rooftop, which can be heard before the rain. 2. The birds flutter away just before the rain. 3. The rain starts around the 10 minute mark. 4. This is a reel for the make noise morphagene. It was created using the chord preset from mutable instruments plaits. The chords gravitate around c. Something i accidentally got while messing around with voxal voice changer by nch software. It was a background noise of my mom closing a door, and i decided to put it in reverse and i couldn't help but notice that it sounded like a low "whoosh" transition. So i opened it in wavepad and added echo + reverb and voila.

It's the 80s and i'm about half-way through making a punk/new wave party mix tape when my turntable starts repeating itself. Unwilling to to back and re-record the mix, i batted the needle around on the record for half a second and stopped the tape. This is the part that isn't recognizable as "hey, st. Peter!".

I recorded this for a pinball game i worked on. It's a sound of a marble dropping onto a table and then rolling around for a bit, finishing in the marble dropping into a hole (falling onto the carpet). It's meant to simulate the sound of a pinball being put into play on a pinball table. Enjoy!.

Incredibly clear quality of a dvd case opening and closing, i used audacity to remove some of my camera's noise and the result honestly blew me away. At around 3 seconds in i say "again", to clarify that i was opening and closing it one more time, edit where needed.

So instead i brought along my trusty tascam dr-05 portable digital audio recorder and recorded the sounds of the market, which are pretty amazing.
