This little distorted bass one-shot was made using a combination of sine-compression and filtering techniques in conjunction with reverse reverb/ bit-crushing. I also added a pitch fall near the end. Please feel free to use this however you like!. If you'd like to credit me somewhere that'd be great, but it's not a requirement. Comment down below where you used it as i'd love to hear!. Have fun!.

Wasn't intending to record this, but it was so intense i had to. I couldn't sleep with the 50mph winds hitting right outside the bedroom. Worst storm i've been through since moving to washington state in 1999. It came from the east through chinook pass. I was kind of expecting the roof to fly off. You can hear the flapping of a tarp covering my old mercedes right outside the window. The wind shredded part of the tarp. Also, the snow drift hitting the window. I used my yamaha pocketrak and edited in sony vegas adding two extra tracks. Please comment on what you may use it for. Thanks. :-).

I'm doing some ww1 commemorative stuff and couldn't find any marching on freesound. So here's my effort: 25s of medium pace marching on gravel, made from a few freesound samples mixed and retimed to match the pace. It's a very bright, close-mic sound, with wide stereo spread. It should loop seamlessly. So this is a composite made from:60076__sinatra314__footsteps-in-gravel-loop109487__tomlija__11-footsteps-on-the-gravel213307__taira-komori__walking-on-the-earth. I've retimed them all to be roughly in synch, added a multitap delay to boost the numbers of feet and some eq to give more of an impression of space.

Sci-fi laser sword sound effects that i created. I created these sounds, using some creative commons 0 sound effects that i got from freesound. Org, and mixing them with some of my own recorded sound effects. To record the hissing sound that i added in the sound effect, i ran the bottom of a cooking pan under some water, and then placed it on a hot stove. The water hissed as soon as it hit the hot stove top, making the hissing sound. Hope you enjoy the sound effects!.

Glitch sfx #1. Modify/use however you want. I made this by playing a couple sine waves on different notes, then i added a fruity waveshaper to add harmonics whenever one of the sine waves clips, then filtered out the original sine waves, leaving you with the distorted harmonics you have here. Made with fl studio 12, massive, waveshaper, and edison. If you use this in anything, please put it in the comments, me and other people may want to check it out!.

The fundamentals of this patch is from the doepfer home pagehttp://www. Doepfer. De/a100_man/a100_patch. Htmthe patch they call "random melody". I call the sound "random melody from doepfer site". Boring. . . I added a voice with some delay/reverb fx and some simple drums. The high-hat is made from white noise and the bass drum isa self oscillating filter. I have used a minor scale on my doepfer a-157 quantizer. This sound is slitly treated in audacity. A little compressor and limiter. Review from one of my kids: "well, there is some rhythm".

This is an audio concept for the flash vs quicksilver video from ismahawkhttps://youtu. Be/vwcqy-d0i_g. Jet rockets are the main element for the flash. A dentist drill is the main element for quicksilver. I used the waves doppler plugin and added reverb and delay to make it fit in an acoustic environment. Please post a link if you use this file. I'm excited to see what you can do with this!. Text me if you want to have fun and talk audio. I love hearing what people are up to in different sound communities!702-860-9869.

Field-recording of the creek found in old ellicot city, md. The creek is located in a suburban town, and is surrounded by a man-made rock moat about a story below street level. Recorded using a sony pcm-m10 at 24bit, 96k. The sound has been gently processed!!- hpf (6db slope) to remove rumble- compressor (ni supercharger gtx) with a minimal 1db gain reduction in m/s mode and a bit of warmth added. - ozone 5 for a little m/s eq to alleviate some of the watery pops on the sides and a little stereo widening to compensate for the pcm-m10's built in omni mics.

Piano Roll recording of Scott Joplin playing "Maple Leaf Rag" in 1916. The original Piano Roll had been scanned and converted to a MIDI file by PlayerRoll, but the work remains in the public domain. This is one of a number of rare recordings by Joplin. It also demonstrates the deterioration of his health, specifically its impact on his piano playing. Midi conversion by PlayerRoll, and found at: http://www.pianola.co.nz. Re-recorded as audio by Major Bloodnok using Cubase with a different piano sound. Slight echo added.

A tawny owl is shouting several times and a church bell of a church, in 200 meter distance, is ringing two times. The reverb is natural, it is no added soundeffect!. This is the sound of a clock ticking, if you can believe it! i added reverb to it and sloooooowed it doooooown to about -81 percent of it's original speed. I think this sounds like an air-conditioner going off in a cathedral. (see tags. ) i hope you can use this and i hope you download the other "big room ambiences" i create. Sorry about those clicks in there! i don't know where they came from, but i think you can probably edit them out. Please excuse. Made with audacity and a clock ticking, if you can believe it!.

This is a single guitar string plucked with a pick directly at the headstock, that means between the tuners and the nut. There the string is very short and tight, resulting in a high, almost piano-like tone. Also, since there is no sound box, the tone is rather quiet. I used this for a sampler and i liked the sound of it. This is the raw recording. If you want to use it in a sampler too, i recommend adding some eq, reverb and maybe some delay. It is not perfectly in tune though, the closest note is a#. You might tweak the tuning a little bit when using it in combination with other tuned instruments. Lazer sound. I made this lazer sound with the use of operator in ableton as well as adding a few effects to help round it out. I started with a basic sine wave and then began to adjust the frequency range to cut out some of the low end of the sound and enhance the high end to make it more realistic and movie accurate. I also had to shorten the decay time so it is more of a short zap sound than a prolonged note. Another step was giving it an initial high pitched sound and this was achieved by having the sound start higher up the scale with semitones and then dropping down giving the effect of shooting and something traveling from the source sound.

A horrible sound for a contest, created by paulstretching the sound of an old photo-slide scanner six times, then slowly layering it on top of itself up by a semitone every second and adding reverb. Please comment on where you intend to use the sound, and feel free to post a link to the work where you used it if you want (i enjoy watching/listening to anything you create!). The sound was recorded using a "h1 zoom v2 recorder". Originally edited using audacity and paulstretch on 25th september 2016. Note: audio quality is always better when downloaded.

This sound is created with two sounds that i recorded at the university. First, the sound of the zip of the pocket and then the falling keys sound. First of all, i cut the two fragment, from two different track, that i wanted for my mix. After, i first worked on the zip sound, which was pretty bad recorded but, after reduced noises, all seemed better ! i made the same thing for the other sound, the falling keys one. Then i ad the last one at the end of the first one, mix a little bit to make the two sounds seemed natural together. After, i normalized the track. At the end, i saved and export my track !.

A hot summers day in the deep swedish forest. Recorded with zoom h5 with two dpa 4060 mounted in a ab stereo fashion. Birds chatting and bugs flying by is major elements in this field recording. Decided not to remove to much of the bugs in post because i felt it might suck out the soul of the recording. In post: in pro tools i removed some low rumble, and and trimmed the highs just a little bit. Added a "pro expander" to lower some noise, both generated by the h5 and the location. Hope you like it.

Though i generally expect attribution for my sounds, almost every aspect of this sound was the product of dpren's superb "scifi gun - mega charge cannon". My only contribution was adding a bit more oomph to when the gun fires so it feels wrong to take any credit for their genius. I'm grateful to the following people for their sounds:. - "scifi gun - mega charge cannon" by dpren. - "plasmacannon. Wav" by bigdino1995.

This is a simple sequence with chords - emaj, d#m and c#maj where i played on my midi keyboard "novation lanchkey mini" with using arturia vintage collection vst plugin - yamaha dx7, type - electronic organ and adding delay effect and reverberation. Sound like synth-wave or retro-wave stile, moderato, quietly and gently. Lounge. You can be using it for your needs, podcasts, samples, different projects, or just like alarm sound on your phone. Enjoy. Temp - 123 bpm.

1:56 field recording of exterior daytime environmental windy day in an exposed lincolnshire countryside location, but with mics completely shielded inside a bus-shelter for a less in your face perspective. Mics are pointed upwards into the wooden box roof of the shelter, which has added a somewhat eerie and disconcerting lower mid rumble to the scene. Recorded with a balanced stereo pair of mics and edited to remove intrusions.

Inspired by amliebsch's "voice from hell" sound, i decided to take a crack at making something similar. This was made with my own voice. If you want to know what it's saying, it's:. To invoke the hive-mind representing chaos. Invoking the feeling of chaos. With out order. The nezperdian hive-mind of chaos. Zalgo. He who waits behind the wall. Zalgo!. Just slowed and pitched down immensely and then with some added reverb to give it the creepy effects that i wanted to. I think it would make a really great ambiance to a creepy horror scene in some creepy abandoned. . . . Wherever you would expect to hear these kinds of sounds. Credits to amliebsch for giving me the idea!.

Sometimes i regret being so stubborn, only using analog modules in my modular. How easy it should have been creating cool rhythms for the drums with a digitalclock generator or having a nice wave table oscillator etc. . . . Today, i admit, i once again was looking at a digital clockgenerator. How would care!?same sequence as in electronic minute no 105, but slower. And i have added someeasy modular analog. . . . Drums and a bonus sound. Play with it. In the end the drums are alone!the wav-file is raw! no editing at all. Yes i should record via my h1. . . But it'sso easy to use the mic in on my laptop.

It's a combination of various sounds for about 33 minutes. I did normalize the track a little bit and added a low shelving eq filter. If you want the raw audio file to do your own clean up. . . Message me. There are mic bumps and movements that you'll need to take out or edit out. I hope it's may be useful for your project. This sound of alarm clock was entirely made with audacity. First, i generated a sinusoïdal key at 575 hz with an amplitude of 0. 11 during 3 seconds. Then i deselect my track and i generated an other sinusoïdal key at 1500 hz with an amplitude of 0. 33 during 3 seconds too. I deselected the track and i generated a final sinusoïdal key at 2800 hz with an amplitude of 0. 56 during 3 seconds. Next i selected my 3 tracks and i clicked on track - mix and render to a new track. I added a tremolo effect with a reverse serrated and a degree of 0, a level of 100 and a frequence at 25,0 hz. The wave must looks like stuck triangles.

Created by kimathi moore for use in the make noise morphagene. “the sounds i've tried sound very good for the morphagene i hope, and are very personal to me. That was bound to happen, they're now like new creatures to me, listening to them over and over again has made them very endearing to me. I also added my frame drums which i thought would be a good addition, sound tools, heater, julie gillum's woodstove, and a small minimalist piano composition. . In addition to the roster 2 of them are from liz lang, whom i wanted to include here as she was my sound/composition mentor. ”.

Five minutes of rain, artificially created. Using a blue yeti usb condenser mic on the cardioid pattern, i made a 30-minute recording of sounds from my sink (drips, splashes, different faucet pressures) and cut them up into 60 files, later edited down to 20. These were layered together and mixed with white, pink, and brownian noise. Slight noise removal done. Recorded some basic mic noise, and used a subtractive processor (reafir in reaper) to remove that sound from the final mix. Convolution reverb was added for a fairly realistic set-it-and-forget-it option. I've uploaded a dry version as well.

Got a group of about 8 people to say "hey!" a few times. Layered all the takes, compressed, and added a touch of reverb. I've used this one a bunch in my own songs. Sometimes, to achieve a convincing gang vocal effect, when i don't have a gang, you can sing your line a few times, and then layer this "hey" under each syllable, and you can get a pseudo-gang vocal. Works in a pinch if your mix is dense enough. I'd love if you'd credit joshua scott or rjc studios if you use this sample, but don't sweat it if you don't. Good artists borrow, great artists steal.

A piece of music i made in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. It's basically a slow groove i made on drums and bass. I added stuff to make it more interesting and dark. Think it would suit anything. Pod, movie or anything you wanna. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool, subscribe and watch victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Com/channel/uca8o46_wrqzehsdzuwfq3rq. Throw horns, dance & hail satan!.
