This recording was made as part of a class exercise, sound and acoustic sketching course. It was part of a sound walk starting in the meditation hut in my back garden down the back lane passing a electricity sub generator and playing children.

I like to put special attention into not only the sounds and rhythms used in my work, but also the shape of the tracks itself when looked at in an audio editor. I enjoy working with dc-offsetted sounds, as i believe that, although there is not much of a difference when listened to, they must be picked up differently somehow by the brain.

Samsara ekd was used for the kick, sent through eq and a couple of distortion plugins. Black noh snare was used for the snare, with a resonator and reverb placed on top of it, as well as eq and compression. Hcx was used for the hihats, with one eq plugin placed on it. The master channel got brickwalled (or bricked) using compressivecm vst.

I recorded these samples after recording a loop of the famous think beat. I used mapex big rock kick and toms and a mapex daisycutter snare along with zultan 15" raw hihat and a zultan 20" dark matter crash.

I recorded this little sample for youtube purposes and you can use it for anything you want! i just recerded a few notes, don't even ask for permissions etc. . ! just use it, if you think it's pleasant or usefull ;)to record it i used a samson c03 usb condenser mic.

A set of variations of a scary soundscape. May come in handy if you find an alien artifact and you want to show it on youtube and need some acoustic colours for it. Entirely made on a pc with software. No mic or instrument used. Most of the software i used for this is available for free. Mainly used: antopya, chimera and the alchemy player. .

A seven note scale (c c# d# f f# g# a#) over separate octaves. Some notes repeat in the same octave, but are slightly different samples. Each note starts on the grid of 100bpm. My neighbour is working at the second floor. Metal hit, pushing heavy stuff, crackings and vibrations by some human body mass at the old wood floor. In the second plan, we can hear passing a train and some cars. Quiet atmosphere with singular acoustic, like a sunday's work.

22" pacific kick drum. This sample has been reworked a countless number of times until i could get the most balls out of it. Great for many styles of music, maybe some slight eqing to get it in your mix.

Water recorded walking in notodden october 3rd 2017. Recording done in static mode and dynamic mode, while standing, walking towards, beside and leaving the running water. The water source was curving beside the road and under a bridge, fading away. Intensity, rythm and acoustic of water and drops changing according to movements of road and body. This is a basic drum loop featuring a performance on the udu, a middle eastern hand drum. The stereo sample actually consists of the same rhythmic patttern performed on two individual drums of different pitches assigned to the left and right stereo channels. This loop would work well for a bollywood-style production or anything requiring a little bit of mid-eastern flair. Enjoy! feedback welcome.

Iphone recording of a group of people sitting in a theatre in downtown boston, ma, prior to a film screening. The room was perfectly tempered and acoustically treated, and people were talking at a relatively normal level without echo or reverberation. It was too good to pass up recording it. At first, there are people talking near by, but towards the end, i am further back and the group chatter effect can be noticed in whole.

No reverberation of the drip2 sample. "plippy". Legend:. "plippy" - short, low attack, low release. "ba-doom-umf" - heavy bass, similar to a large mass object being dipped underwater. Low attack, medium decay, low-medium sustain, low release. "slappy" - self-explantory, low attack but high release. "no-oh-wah" - sort of surreal acoustic profile. A combination of low attack, low sustain and release.

15 year old dog struggling to breathe. Dog walks through the house making loud gasping and ear-splitting clacking sounds (claws on fake wood flooring) in a house with excruciating acoustics. The bell-like sound is her clumsily banging into a water dish. I love this dog but i've been listening to this every day for 1. 5 years. It's nerve wracking and incredibly annoying to listen to, imo.

Part of "semiloopdrumsamples" package, please dl the whole package. . With 'semilooped' i mean that only the ride and hihat are longer loops and the kick and snare is separate for better flexibility. I only made basic patterns tho as this package is mostly meant for creating custom playalong/click tracks. No eq's, i'll let the user do that. . Again for flexibility. All samples are stereo(48khz24bitflac), since the sound of the kick naturally leaks in the overheads and the overheads are a big part of the snare sound.

I had normal two-way radio contact in morse code on 8om band. Suddenly a flock of jays flew, they sat on boughs near open window of my bungalow and their acoustic noise terribly interferred my contact. Here's my second flute reel for the make noise morhpagene. This is how far i've came over the past few months in my playing and despite a few slip ups here and there i'm quite pleased with how i'm able to make it sound now. Would love to hear what people do with these samples as it is quite humbling to know my playing is in people's modular systems across the globe.
