Night: high winds with gusts. Record inside a wooden shed, 12 ft by 30 ft. Low roar of wind outside with louder, higher velocity gusts. Creaking of wood structure, bang of object on wall. Recorded with oss (jecklin disk) system using two josephson c617 mics with microtech-gefell mk221 capsules.

Shed door opens, then closed. First with a metallic click to unlock and followed by a long opening creaking door. Once opened there is a plastic rustle and the door closes with an even longer spooky creaking noise. Followed by a clunk when shut and a metallic click to lock the shed door. Silence back and front.

Some wind was blowing through some wooden blinds in my house and making this obnoxious howling sound, so i captured some of it :p. Recorded with a rode nt1.

Field recording of a person who walks inside a living room and closes the slide door. You can slightly feel the transition from exterior to interior reverberant space. I really liked the texture/character of her shoes/pants.

I made this using audacity to reform and change the frequencies for a few sounds i recorded at my desk which were made with a lighter, imitating the sound of a water drop with my voice, a rotating object hitting different things (cans, lighter, wooden desk, etc. , my creaky chair, me imitating a fly with my voice and finally, tapping on an empty can.

Ewes eating grain in a sheepfold, close upfirst a broom on wooden floor is givng grains to the animals. Then ewes are eating the grains. Belles, other ewes bleating, sparrow. France, january 2023. This sound is the sound of the door to my bathroom closing from the outside. To record this i used my sontronics stc-10 microphone, my audiobox interface and pro tools on my mac at 48khz, 24 bit. I recorded this sound to be used as foley for a door closing off screen in a student film. I uploaded as i thought it might come in useful to others.

This meal of pasta with tomato sauce sounded fleshy, so i decided to record it. Sometimes you can hear the wooden spoon hit the pan. In the end, i even drop some of the past imitating a squish and a splash. Recorded using a phone and a lapel microphone.

Sound created using the wooden rod inside of my coat closet, and recorded on a zoom h2 recorder. This effect was used to create a sort of dungeon ambiance in a musical track. Recorded inside a closet. Low noise, not much reverb. Sounds almost machine-like with a satisfying thump. Recorded on a phone. I messed around with it to get it to sound nice. In case you do something that mixes the channels: on the opening part i copied a 5khz to 8. 5khz band from the left to the right channel, so that frequency band is mono.

My dog and the nieghbour's dog don't like each other. While i was asleep they went to the fence and from the calmness they barked and growled at each other. The neighbour's dog who has sharper voice tore some pieces of the wooden fence on the nieghbour's side but the another layer of the fence is iron and cannot be toren apart by them. Recorded by sony stereo dictaphone.

Two-pole circuit breaker recorded held in my hand, also pressed against a wooden board for more resonance. And some rattling mechanical handling noises at the end. 7 hits on a paddle fan. Still figuring out how to record this. Recorded on samson q2u - the mic was behind the drum surface, and it was struck by my finger lightly on the other side, while being held at a wooden handle. There's some light paint on the drum surface, which may be made of synthetic (plastic?) material, and the rim is wire. It was a gift - unsure of its origins or nature, but it sounds cool.
