Rain wind and thunder : rain with heavy thunderstorm outside a shop (or coffee shop or house or tent) with raindrops on the rooftop or the canopy being mildly sharply audible. Gradually thunder and wind stop towards the end of the sample. Synthesized using noise oscillators (white, color and band) in thor in propellerheads reason.

I drew this thx deep note imitation in photosounder by drawing several lines with the white spray with the harmonics modifier. I first had a look at the original thx sound and tried to reproduce what i saw. The final chorus sounds bad because it's hand-drawn, so the right notes aren't hit plus the lines aren't straight so the pitches keep moving around a bit.

While outputting a file of sound effects, i ended up with a severely corrupted file. Playback results include incessant shrieking and slight pitch alterations. To create more variety, i used a lowpass filter and long reverb.

A recording of strong spring wind gusts through a stand of mature, tall white pines in a midwest forest. I used my handy zoom h4n recorder, and i used my rode nt2 shotgun microphone, cable-tied to a sapling. No kidding, i forgot my sturdy tripod, so i improvised using some bungee cords that i carry with me, tied the shotgun to a sapling and this is what i recorded.

In order, my partner intervenes when a "big" guy is about to strike a girl. The one intervened-upon takes a step forward and my partner steps back. The other guy utters these recorded words. Recording of wind and rain in a storm in south uk, 28th oct 2013. Wind can be heard blowing through nearby woods and leaves rustling. Dripping of rain from the eves of the house. Mostly white noise hissing with volume rising and falling. Recorded using a canon d550 out the window/door. The files were edited to remove wind when it directly blows on the microphone.

This is a clip which contains the background audio which i need enhanced. I can't quite make out all the words, but i do know that the words "rapin him" are said, and the name "carter", and "positive thing". When i recorded this clip, i put the conversation on a loop, trying to make it easier to edit it while i listened, but i still can't make it all out. Good luck.

At the morning, saint-blimont, la somme, france. Recorded on 2018/11/01 at 8h24 by a rode nt4, sound devices 302 and olympus ls100. This is a good example that the rode nt4 is not a good system for quiet ambiances. High-pass (160 hz) on the sound devices, +12 db gain on pro tools.

This is penny, a 7 year old female black and white cat who was being very affectionate. Recorded her in the bathroom purring and rubbing on the mic. 50 second in, i put the mic up to her chest while purring. Then at 1 and a half mins, i recorded her drinking water out of the sink. Hopefully someone finds good use for her sounds. I can always get more, and her brother as well.

Simple synth snare + 3 higher speeds. ⸻ "how do you make a classic synth snare, do you just take white noise and go like. . . " *goes like* ". . . Huh" yep you just go like. (going like consists of setting an oscillator to sine with just a release tail and noise + a lowpass snapping up and trailing off gently + compression/distortion of some sort + high frequency shelf snapping down from high gain and then back up).

Captured in a small she-oak forest on the edge of pink lakes, a salt lake in murray sunset national park , victoria australia. The wind sings beautifully through these trees. Recorded with a ms set up using a sennheiser 416 paired with sennheiser mkh-70 into a zoom h4n. I then synced this up with another recording from a different position using a zoom 4n.

Hello this is a some radio chatter that i was working on it goes in and out the a cut at the end. You can use it you can use this sound in any of your projects but if you make over 1 million dollars off you aaa game / movie than you can share the wealth lol but i would like to know what you use it for that is it credit would be nice but not necessary.

I have built a nonlinearcircuits sloth lfo, the regular version. Sloth is a chaotic lfo. The output is based on the lorenz system. It is a system of ordinary differential equations. It is notable for having chaotic solutions for certain parameter values and initial conditions. In particular, the lorenz attractor is a set of chaotic solutions of the lorenz system which, when plotted, resemble a butterfly or figure eight (very much from wikipedia). The sloth has two outputs x and y. Think of them as coordinate pairs. The output will probably never repeat itself but there is a pattern. I have built the regular sloth it usually takes approx 15 seconds to make a rough figure 8, one cycle in the “butterly”. Now i’m testing the module in different ways. In this sound i have connected white noise to a filter. The filter frequency is controlled by sloth (x output). In this patch i have set the initial frequency low. That’s why there is a low humming wind noise between the “tops”. The output sound from filter goes to reverb. The sound is more a study of sloth behavior than an attempt to create a great wind sound.

My bathroom fan is humming while operating. As you might hear, the fan is full of dust and dirt, so it does this "unround" noisy humming. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. We are back in germany and its raining again! i opened the window an little bit and recorded with my roland binaural mics the rain and raindrops that are falling from the window! you can clearly hear the drops but sometimes you have a little wind noise. The giant 1000 liter wine tank at red maple vineyard in the hudson valley - west park, ny. This sounds amazing for "old vocals"a very springy plate tank reverb. Complex and colorful. This is for a video game i was making, but i figured it would be a good idea to share this with everyone. This is supposed to be the sound of a wooden container being violently smashed open, such as a barrel or a box, or even possibly a wooden wall. I borrowed a few sounds from the site, tweaked a little of course, and also added some powerful white noise effects to indicate a hard smash. With some layering with twigs cracking and pieces of wood falling on the floor, i think it sounds pretty authentic. . . Or as authentic as it can get!.

The year of the roster began on january 28, 2017. The night before, january 27, as traditions dictate chinese family gather to have a great dinner and get lose with baijiu -chinese white liquor-. After dinner, a little tipsy, chinese went to the street and start firing all kind of pyrotechnic. Amazing spectacle -even been disastrous for the air you breathe for the next few days-. I recorded this firecracker with a zoom ii from the balcony of my 19th-floor apartment in beijing.

A sound i made in audacity, basicly a chirp going down from about 500 hz to 20 hz (with a fade-out to limit subwoofer use)and added some ambience by using white noise rumble on the background, also added a slight wah-wah as you might notice. Here, i tried to represent the rain with a thunderstorm in the background, a sound that can be used in a thriller, drama or other movies. To the sound of the rain i generated "white noise", amplitude to 1. Then, i changed the acute and bass across the track to show some instability of the rain. To highlight the suddenness of the rain, i put a fade in during the first 5 seconds with a reverberation from 6 to 50s to make a natural sound. Finally, i added a track recorded of a storm with -9db for the storm and + 11db for the rain.

I initially created this snare using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ) and a single instance of the zynaddsubfx plugin. There were many effects and experiments done before exporting as an audio stem. Next i opened this stem ( single snare hit ) in bitwig studio and made a few copies of it and timestretched and chopped and then joined together in a group track the parts i liked to make the whole sound. Final effects included saturation, equalization , sidechain-limiting and compression.

Just some noise of my casio as-51r cassette player i had left over when i had taken what i was after from my recordings. Perhaps there's some use for it, i honestly don't know, but i thought i would upload in case someone needs it. Recorded with a samsung galaxy s21, edited with audacity 2. 4. 2.

I don't know what combination of (free (as in beer)) vsts, ni komplete audio 2 interface, and behringer pro~1 synth produced this but i thought it was very soothing and definitely worth sampling!. The bass note at the beginning is f# if you want to use that as well ;). Was going to wait to upload a samplepack after i finish these 3 albums/compilations but this is just too good to sit on. Note to would-be producers: this is what mindset you get into after burning the candle at both ends buyer beware :upside_down_face:.

Ocean waves recorded from between two rocks. Recorded on a zoom h4 with the mics covered in zeppelin fur at 44100 hz 24-bit. There's some slight wind noise that can be filtered from 150hz downward. This is part of a series of recordings for an ambient music project i'm working on. There are some excellent ocean recordings on freesound if you're looking for a more traditional ocean sound, but my intent with these clips was to try to capture some natural phase-shifting by placing the h4 in cracks and crevices for a more hollow, "closed-in" sound.
