Stomping on a big cement ground as hard a possible with a contact mic attached to the ground. The contact mic provides lots of bass so you can use this for punches, kicks, impacts, anything that can use a sweeter for impacts. I handmade my contact mic and recorded that into a h5. I decided to experiment with a metal slinky, with the intention of creating some science-fiction sounds. Here is a string out of what could potentially be used as "laser gun shots". There are a variety of individual shots, and at the latter-half of the clip i attempted to create a cross-fire gun fight. Some editing, including noise reduction may improve what i've done here. *recorded on may 09, 2021 using a sennheiser shotgun mic and a zoom h4n pro (and a shower, of course).

I am playing a 9ft long log of ash wood (fraxinus excelsior) that i cut in half and hollowed out then stuck back together 15 years ago. While i play it i am remembering when i cut it and the place it was growing and the reason i felled it, and remembering when i revisited that place 7 years later and saw the tree growing back so well from the cut. I am remembering/dreaming about all the other times i played it and the reasons why. I am "future dreaming" of what will be its part in the space opera and what effect it will have as well :).

It's a part of my pack "sickness". Sounds i recorded while being sick. I got a virus infection resulting in elevated body temperature, lack of strength, cough, running nose and sneezing. Check the title for what is in this particular recording. Recorded with zoom h2 on a mic-stand @ 96khz/24-bit. All the sounds in this pack are raw (unprocessed) they were truncated and converted to flac (both using audacity) but not normalized, with original 24-bit precision - turn them up as you need, denoise if you have to, cut out what you want. Enjoy my pain ;-).

Several geese honking. Recorded outside amid a gaggle of geese on a zoom h2 in 120* pattern. Might be other fowl noises (not loud) in background, can't remember what was around the geese. This is the loudest part of a field recording.

I couldn't even begin to describe exactly what i did to that recording, but i do remember manipulating it through audition using lots of weird dynamic processors, eq's, and convolution reverbs.

This is a hard one hit kick. 2 kick sounds have been manipulated with eq and effects, but not over processed, put together into one. So what you end up with is a clean kick that you can hear and feel. Rendered in fl studio.

Short melody performed on a moog grandmother with the spring reverb turned pretty high which is what the dissonance between notes. It was recoreded into ableton live 10 using a focusrite 2i2 audio interface at 44. 4 khz in dallas texas on a rainy night.

A sound i recorded at teesside university with my samsung galaxy s21 phone inside one of the buildings. Not sure what was making the sound, but i've edited in audacity 2. 4. 2 so it can loop.

Here is me running across the floor. It is quieter in the beginning of the "run pass" and gets louder then fades again to simulate distance. I did multiple passes so you will probably need to edit it based on what you want to do with it.
