What seems to be a malfunctioning alarm at a rail crossing. The clanging of the electronic bell has an irregular pattern and seems muted. Perhaps even more annoying to some than the typical crossing gate alarm.

I can't remember what i used to make this splash sound but i probably just splashed my hand into the water of a pool. Recorded using a sony ic recorder and processed in fl studio's edison to remove sound.

(loud) my own interpretation of what the doom shotgun in 2017 would sound like. Created, by me, with minuscule snippets of audio from the original sfx alongside my own custom-made audio and audacity. Use however you see fit.

Several geese honking. Recorded outside amid a gaggle of geese on a zoom h2 in 120* pattern. Might be other fowl noises (not loud) in background, can't remember what was around the geese. This is the loudest part of a field recording.

I created this sound to emulate what a dance beat might sound like in a canyon. Was originally a hot dog warmer with a nice rattle to it. Recorded on zoom h2.

This is a variation on a guttural growl i made to depict some giant bears in power armour. I recorded myself with a zoom h1 and then fiddled with pitch shifts etc to get to this big cat noise (well, that was what i was aiming for).

Was experimenting with involving an adsr in sequencing when this beat suddenly appeared. Had to record it. Saved it in a low resolution mp3 format just to get that old mp3 sound. Meaningless. . . That's what it all about.

The sequence is not stable. I'm not touching the synth. Te electronics are making variations. Not what i thought but interesting. Sequencing in my usual way with a vclfo. My plan was to upload a short loop, but the variations was so interesting. . . .

Walking round the grounds of kirby hall and there was one particularly vocal peacock. Only had android phone with me. Have removed wind interference with eq. There are no other fx on the edit. What sounds like a bit of reverb is from the natural ambience.

I am playing a 9ft long log of ash wood (fraxinus excelsior) that i cut in half and hollowed out then stuck back together 15 years ago. While i play it i am remembering when i cut it and the place it was growing and the reason i felled it, and remembering when i revisited that place 7 years later and saw the tree growing back so well from the cut. I am remembering/dreaming about all the other times i played it and the reasons why. I am "future dreaming" of what will be its part in the space opera and what effect it will have as well :).

The speaker in the car was acting up and played some sort of choppy cut of what i believe to be rocket man, since that’s what started playing when the bluetooth got back into range. At the end of the recording you can hear my dad getting back into the car. Use all you’d like, but i do like to hear about where you did use it so i can look it up myself.

I recorded my small house dog being scared. She's always scared for whatever reason and decides to whine. It is a very interesting sound because it almost like she's growling. I decided to experiment with a metal slinky, with the intention of creating some science-fiction sounds. Here is a string out of what could potentially be used as "laser gun shots". There are a variety of individual shots, and at the latter-half of the clip i attempted to create a cross-fire gun fight. Some editing, including noise reduction may improve what i've done here. *recorded on may 09, 2021 using a sennheiser shotgun mic and a zoom h4n pro (and a shower, of course).

Yeah, it's so screwed up you can barely tell it was from that sample. That ringing in the back is a stretched and pitched piece of the same sample. I was trying to make a dub loop, but this is what i got. Really freaky.

This is a raw recording of what is meant to be a grass sound effect. Was made using a cloth bag and some utensil wrappers inside of it to make a crinkly crunching sound. Recomended to add effects to it as needed and as such left it as a raw sample, though even baseline it mostly gets the effect.

I bought my own fire alarm (i am an enthusiast) on ebay. I went into my garage to record it. And it didn't work. I tinkered with it a little and got it to work. And this is what it sounds like. Feel free to use with no credit.
