Public domain music from musopen.com Q: What restrictions are there for the music downloaded from this site, can I edit it? Share it? Use it for a film project? A: The music on this site is given a public domain license, therefore, there are technically no restrictions on what you do with it. We do ask, out of courtesy, two things. One, that you do not directly sell our recordings for profit, as a great amount of work has been donated to this project, and for the benefit of the public, not profit. And for all the film students emailing, yes you may use it in your film, you can then sell the film, containing our music. I put this together on a whim, having fun. It's mindless, i know. It so happened i'd just listened to an excellent rendition of the washington post march, a seemingly appropriate masterpiece by john philip sousa. Appropriate in 1889, that is. Https://youtu. Be/mxrh1crmmty. Today we don't seem to be doing quite that well. Few realize that the u. S. Government doesn't have enough money to support your grandma's left tit, and the trillions in the budget are taxes on the expected earnings of our great-great-great grandchildren. This year alone we'll add another "great" to that. It seems no one can agree on anything, social media decides what you can say publicly (or never be heard), and very nearly every power-drunk politician is interested only in acquiring or retaining said power. Our ideological mismatch is something to be exploited. Divided, we be easier to control. It's intentional. Absolutely. So, i submit this particular ditty as representative of the current state of affairs in the untied states. Misspelled on purpose. 1889, it is not.

Blogspot. Recorded on february 9, 2001 in an old appartment complex lobby on the 2nd floor. We held a fundraiser for a local charity and it included a place for people to get together, play board games and an n64 was set up. The sound features three people including myself playing a multiplayer level of donkey kong, people chatting, the heater running, elevator, faint backgroudn music and the sounds of the nearby hallway.

A soundscape conveys our interpretation of the origin of universe. It mixes scientific, vedic hinduism and creative approaches. Starting from the very beginning (big bang and “om” sound), passing through the universe expansion and focusing mostly on earth evolution, including molten rock and floods eras, as well as sounds from living creatures. We used a combinations of sounds from our custom pure data patches, vst synthesizers and a few samples from freesound. You can find the attribution below.

Roller coaster- nothing really noteworthy about this recording. It’s just a nice wide stereo capture of an old style wood-frame roller coaster. I think there were only 2 or 3 people riding it as i did this recording, as it was a not-at-all busy weekday afternoon in the off season. We get a passing motorcycle at the very beginning, and then a distant plane just prior to the roller coaster. Recording in the cafeteria of pompeu fabra university (poblenou campus). A sound of a metal knife and fork is the main sound and in the background we can hear the typical sound of a cafeteria with a lot of people. It was in the lunch time and the sound have high frecuencies due to the metal contact and middle-low frecuencies due to people talking.

These recordings were made during a location-scouting trip i took some time ago to southern germany, where we had a look at some cathedrals to shoot a documentary. I took the time to record a few atmos with my handy h2. . . This is a very touristy sort of restaurant in the center of the historical town of speyer, featuring people talking in various languages, restaurant noises and, last but not least, no background music!.

Znet_sequencer 0. 1 puredata patch that generates different sounds with a "ip sequencer". Network traffic is captured by pdpcap, ip sequencer generates a different bang for each protocol (ip, tcp, udp and icmp), and the sound system has the assigned sound for them (sampler, drums, noises, etc. . . ). So, the "music" (or noise) is generated by a sequencer based on ip network traffic, so as we surf the web it generates a song. + info http://musa. Poperbu. Net/znet_sequencer.

A recording of my sharpening a machete that we would use to chop drift wood for a beach fire at an island art residency. Between times, you can hear my being offered and resisting advice on how best to sharpen the blade, and my requesting a 'grown up gummie bear'. Also, my then eight-year-old updating me on their search for a pencil sharpener. I used the recording for a sound design commission and as a sort of white noise component of an uplifter for a pop song.

Short recording of me walking to the roof of a warehouse near the los angeles area. You can hear the wind and my foot steps on the the steel roof access staircase. Once on the roof we hear a turbine vent squeaking and an aircraft flying overhead, as police sirens pass by. Please feel free to use this sound, if possible let me know where this sound is used, i'm just curious to know.

This recording is really not great. But i really wanted to capture the frog jam. . . As i was listening i kept thinking about how frogs can teach us about rhythm and wondered if some indigenous or any people ever patterned drumming after frogs. . . These frogs are going to town. . . Hope you can at least hear some of their music on here. It was a full moon night and just by chance we found ourself in a pretty quiet park because of the rains before.

There is a new freeware program called splitte. Aithat will take any piece of music and extract parts from it. It is highly inaccurate when trying to really accuratelysurgically remove, say, bass, drums, guitar or vocal tracks, but it creates some really trippy artifacts. All of these sample were from a live jazz tune that we were playing. The results of splitter splitting the tracks were really weird and ethereal. I have no affiliation with splitter. Ai, by the way, i just stumbled on it thisweek.

An interesting sound from a house we were staying at. The outdoor exhaust for the clothes dryer made this jet like noise, particularly when the microphone was moved around it. There are some bird and mower noises in the background, but this really just wants to be the basis for some cool sound design jets, whooshes, turbines, etc. Play with it and make something cool. Recorded with a zoom h1n, 24-bit, 48khz, stereo. Cleaned up a bit in izotope rx.

I like the first cup of coffee from a good coffee maker. Inevitably though, it gets left on, and then to me it is undrinkable. Overcooked. Terrible. The waste is unacceptable to me. So, we can agree on that, and my partner was about to make a cup for himself. I got it all, jar lids, spooning, stirring with a spoon in a ceramic cup, adding sugar and milk. The last soft thud is the fridge door closing.

This was recorded from my windowsill facing onto a tarmac driveway in august 2012. There is the occasional tinkling sound of raindrops hitting a metal gate, some traffic noise, the occasional bit of thunder, and some shouts of people getting wet. At the end, raindrops start falling onto the recorder. This is fairly heavy rain by oxford standards; we probably get something like this only a couple of times a year. This fall turned into hail a bit later. Recorded with a marantz pmd661.

A field-recording taken at a local animal park (germany). It was an early morning in spring and there were hardly any people there yet. The area, where we sat down, was surrounded by trees. Numerous birds were chirping and crows were cawing. A few farm animals like sheep can be heard in the recording at times as well as a one of the caretakers starting a vehicle in the distance.

The very traditional jarabe tapatío, one of the most beloved pieces that you can ask to a mariachi group. The last segment is commonly use as fanfare (in mexico we call it "una diana"); you probably hear it in old mexicans movies. I recorded this on the street (so, you need to equalize it a little), in oakland, california, in august 20, 2011, with my zoom h2. Use in case of 5 de mayo celebration.

This is a merry go round that was at the louisville zoo in kentucky, usa. It was actually specifically called a mary lee we go around, created by a mary lee and her husband in 1919. I’m not sure if the music is similar or the same as the music used when it was made but it seems like if it wasn’t it was made to feel like it could be. There’s music in this recording as well as some people talking in the background.

Sound of a million-dollar horse. A close-up shot of a dominican paso fino doing its tell-tale step, natural to the breed. The rhythm is near-perfect, we can clearly hear hoofs on dirt as well as the animals heavy breathing. Various segments are perfectly loopable. Recorded on an h-1 zoom on a pole astride the animal. As a side-note, the horse itself is from a price-winning blood-line and worth in the excess of $1. 5 million us. I know, right?.

Two minutes of truly annoying canine posturing you can play on loop to spread hate and discontent amongst your office mates. Or if you need barking ranch dogs and a fairly close barking coyote, there is lots to lift out. Translate what they are saying to each other for ridiculous videos. "give me a chicken. " "no. No. " "we know you got chickens. We'll split them with you, 60-40. " "no. No no no no no. No. ".

Here's some ambience i recorded in 2021 when i went to surf side beach, texas for a weekend vacation with family. This was recorded from the decking of the house we were staying in. The beach was probably around 50 yards away from us, give or take a few feet. The ambience was recorded with the sennheiser ambeo smart headset (no longer made) connected to an apple iphone 8 with an app called backpack studio acting as the actual recorder.

Five rakes of a large wind chime recorded in the studio. I was producing a track for a singer / songwriter who has a beach type song and we needed some effects to add to the atmosphere and wind chimes was one of a few. This is a clean recording. You can use this in all kinds of outdoor samples etc. I recorded five passes for a few different chimes. This recording is unprocessed and has not been edited. A bad readout of an excerpt from prosperous. The tempest act 4, scene 1, 148–158. Our revels now are ended. These our actors,as i foretold you, were all spirits, andare melted into air, into thin air:and like the baseless fabric of this vision, the cloud-capp'd tow'rs, the gorgeous palaces, the solemn temples, the great globe itself, yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve, and, like this insubstantial pageant faded, leave not a rack behind. We are such stuffas dreams are made on; and our little lifeis rounded with a sleep. .

Remaster of makenoisemusics sk-1 reel. This is made with twice as many splices. Original: https://freesound. Org/s/499589/. Quote:"created and formatted for use in the make noise morphagene. Released in 1985, the casio sk-1 was a battery powered sampling keyboard that has become something of a cult favorite. We have reformatted its classic built-in rhythms (as well as their fill-in variations) as a reel of splices for your morphagene! download them today and transform them into something new!".

I left the recorder locked and unattended in the car whilst we went and did a bit of shopping. It was raining, breezy and the car was parked under a tree in a busy city centre car park next to a main road. You can hear cars passing at different speeds, the rain on the windscreen, doors opening and closing and muffled, distant voices. Zoom h1, internal mics, 50hz high pass at 6db/oct to reduce rumble.

I recorded this quick improvisation with my built-in laptop microphone and track monitoring on in reaper, which resulted in it sounding washed-out, warped, and screechy in the high end. At the beginning you hear the distorted wail of a left click initiating the recording. Somebody walks into the living room at the end and we share an exchange. I didn't add any effects or edit this audio in any way, it's just a fun experiment. Let me know if you use this for something!!!!!.
