Took my zoom h4 with me on the last flight of a 5 story metal stairwell then on the backstage catwalk - first back stage, then over the audience, then to the sound booth of a theatre i was working at. Note: i did not realize my pants made so much noise as i was walking.

I thought i record some breaths, tried to variate it a bit. For example there is an inhale and exhale with the yogic ujjayi breath and some other ones. I used some of these in drone pieces, they blend it pretty well. Thats unprocessed raw: just recorded direct into ableton 9 with zoom h2n.

This file contains a jet flying over as well as a prop plane, hawks screeching, crows cawing, and my golden retriever bud sniffing around. This file can be broken up into segments and used for many projects. It was recorded with a zoom h5 in the southeastern portion of the us. Enjoy!.

Noises from a factory recorded from outside. The factory shapes metal parts with a punching press. You hear the punches as well as machine noises and metal parts being moved. Recorded with a samsung siii phone, multiband compressed and equalized afterwards.

This sound was recorded while driving down the road on my way to school while it was raining. I was traveling between 0 and 60 miles per hour. So there is a variation in the intensity of the rain falling against my car. As-well you gain a slight acknowledgement to the acceleration of my engine.

I opened the door and stood in the doorway to record the wind. You hear leaves rustling on the floor and every now and then the wind accidentally gets into the mic as i don't have a wind screen. You hear a little howling as well as some squeeking noise through it.

A sound i made that would be used for buffing spell in a game such as 'iron flesh' in skyrim. Medium rain recorded from my apartment in barcelona city with a tascam dr 40. Rain falling in rooftops, metal. Background city rumble. This is the first track i upload here. Hope it turns out to be helpful to some of you. Any suggestions will be well received.

Drawing curtains: in the sound you hear curtains being drawn from one side to the other giving a harsh "shhhhhh" sound. There are different variations in the speed in which the curtains are drawn as well. Recorded using the zoomh4n and using the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. A low shelf was added to this sound to cancel some handling issues.

Here is some more of that couple next door. This one got some good loud noises as well as some soft noises of the woman. The sex noises is from 2:30-5:54. The other unnecessary noises kept in were mainly from the couple. This is edited and shortened with audacity.

Here's a old geiger counter with the tube held by a radioactive test sample, probably / hopefully fairly well decayed. A pure recording of an early morning rainshower in the deep woods. Recorded on august 6th, 2013 at 6:30 in the morning. You will hear some birds singing as well -- despite the shower. Well. . . . . Field recording is a bit of a stretch this was recorded on my back porch in springfield mo usa in june of 2000. I used a minidisk and two pzm's and a home made spliter box that worked only if you never touched it. It was one in the morning to try and avoid most of the traffic. Rain starts about half way in. Recorded on my zoom h4n in early spring at 1:32 am. I believe this to be a call of the great horned owl that is found all over north american as well as parts of central and south anerica. There is a distant sound of a dog barking but there are three owl calls, with the last two the cleanest.

I note that it is easily edited to produce a very convincing "oh shit" which i have put into practical use on occasion.
