This is some more edirol 'composing' this time using an arpeggiater and just really letting midi do its thing. I don't really remember how or why i composed this or what i used it for (if anything) but it's quite dramatic, isn't it?!.

Recorded with my iphone some street ambience. Phone was sitting on a 4th floor window at evening time. Some barks and cars can be heard.

Since snow has been so widespread, thought it would be a good time to stockpile the beautiful crunchy, crisp sound of walking on it. This was recorded the evening of february 15, 2021 using my marantz pmd661 audio recorder and the bulletproof, dynamic beyerdynamic me58 microphone. The temperature was 2 degrees farenheit.

I've decided to experiment with random frequencies slowly filling canvas and blending into a single timbre. For this piece they emerge with quite an amount of time and there is no distinct frequency to form a tone. This experimentation produces quite a hauinting sound consisting of small parts.

It is a journey on the london underground, starting at king's cross platform 9 and finishing in buckingham palace road outside victoria station. There was industrial action going on at the time and you can hear announcements to that effect.

I recorded this a ways back on a cassette recorder and i tried to remove as much hiss as i could with sony's 'sound forge' but i think the hiss kinda gives it an old time vinyl sound. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).

This sound describes what happens in my grandmother's garden in the evening. She lives in a village where birds singing loudly but in this time they are calm and silent. It was very relaxing sound.

The sound of something or someone shrieking rhythmically in the cemetery while i was passing by around midnight. The shrieking went for probably 30 seconds at a time, with pauses of around 30 seconds in between. I recorded it on my cell phone, so it's terrible quality.

Turns out if the time is right for it, the microphone sensitive enough and you amplify with audacity, some pretty graphic sounds are present. Don't ask if it's real. It is. Sexual penetration and lots of movement, and i wasn't even in charge. :d almost inaudible during the act.

A recording made in the shawnee national forest in illinois on the very first day of october, 2022. From time to time though, the soft call of a nuthatch or a chickadee reminds us there is still bird life in the early autumn woods. Time to give something back here. Hope it's useful. Mix out of a soft synth kick punched up and up, by adding gated attack kick. Compressed and limited, maximal appereance of the kick by giving enough space for other instruments. Also can handle a subbass (+/- sidechaincomp) easily , because of the depth.

Ian dury used something like this in "what a waste". . . It's the gurgling noise made when the last of the water runs down a bathroom sink plughole. Conveys almost as much meaning as a cistern flushing, but in a shorter time (smaller file size). As ever (with my stuff) no "noises off" and so ready for mixing!.

An old unfinished loop i made in fl studio (version 6 at the time i believe). It contains some dark ambient drones in the second half that adds a bit of mysteriousness to it. Perfectly loopable and free to use wherever you want!.
