The sample is a short blast from the last couple of seconds of a noise track i just completed. . . A lot of neat, varried textures and such. . . The very end is me screaming while rapidly turning a distortion on and off.

This started out as a basic kick drum pattern i was experimenting with in ableton, and then devolved into me applying an obscene amount of delay, echo, reverb, compression, and filtering. And now it sounds vaguely like a helicopter :).

More 120bpm beats and stuff i made from scratch in live using midi instruments and the non sample based softsynth phoscyon to build up sounds from waves, then run them through compressors, distorters, destroyers, eqs, and textures.

Two seperate recordings of an old computer with a tweeter wired as a microphone, then hard panned, compressed, saturated, filtered and run through a ms-modifier a phaser and a 15 second long convolution reverb.

This is the superimposition of 2 sounds, 1/ what seems to be a distant metallic sound and 2/ what seems to be multiple impacts and touches on a plastic wrap layer. I don't exactly remember what i was going for on that one.

Sound made by bowing a detuned guitar tied to a clothes hanger. Recorded with two contact microphones. No effects were added, the apparent reverb tails are the waves resonating within both the guitar and the metallic clothes hanger.

This is a combination of a bunch of sounds to create a very close feeling digging and tearing through earth sound. Thick roots being torn, low rumble, a lot of layers. Used for a video of hands moving through dirt, digging, forming, etc.

Natural reverb hollow sound created with water sloshing back and forth underneath the princess wharf. The sound textures of the water changes with the tides. I have made a patch that generates drones. Lets call this generative. . . I use feedback on my spring reverb. I only use one filter. The drone is structured by a triangle lfo and 2 comparators. It's tricky to balance the patch to give varying and interesting results. The drone is made with a 100% analog modular synth.
