So this is my attempt in making a crowd sound effect. It really didn't sound like a people's crowd since i said "walla" too loud in some clips. There are approximately 28 clips in that sound varying from 15 to 17 seconds. Also, i combined another crowd sound effect which i created in 3ml editor and edited in both audacity and adobe audition to make it longer. All (with the exception of the earlier crowd sound effect i did) was combined in audacity.

Location: charlotte douglas international airporttime: april 2015. A strong storm hit charlotte, north carolina, and flights got delayed or canceled. The gates got crowded and people were restless. Lots of airline announcements, people talking on their cell phones, airport electric cart beeps, voices in english and a few words here and there in spanish, etc. Don't remember if this was recorded using the zoom h1 or h5 with the xyh-5 x/y microphone capsule.

So you decide to make some more "lotta" money modeling, without asking for specifics. Having committed to carrying through, you then find out they intend to tie you up. Well okay. But this guy is serious. He doesn't so much want acting. He wants real stuff. My advice: if you're going to do this, don't bring your sister along.

I recorded my voice while playing freelance horror games; scp-087-b and slender sanatorium. This was so i could get genuine reactions to use as stock voice clips for future use. Some pretty interesting stuff came out. This one is my favorite. After this exclamation, i was laughing so hard, and was like "oh god wah? is that what i just said? that's what i just said!!".

These recordings were made during a location-scouting trip i took some time ago to southern germany, where we had a look at some cathedrals to shoot a documentary. I took the time to record a few atmos with my handy h2. . . This is a very touristy sort of restaurant in the center of the historical town of speyer, featuring people talking in various languages, restaurant noises and, last but not least, no background music!.

Amount of sounds recorded on the field : a construction site of a power plant where i worked. Sounds of tools and electrical devices, some motors, ventilation, people talking, metallic sounds (pieces of metal structures, doors, pipes which i played drums with), sounds of shoes with rubber outsole. Sounds mostly from the inside and a bit outside. Sometime the quality is not the best as i hid my recorder.

Recorded outside louisville city hall next to the courthouse at a time with lighter traffic. Recorded around 9am on 1/30/2018. Recorded with a sound devices mixpre-3 with two rode nt5's in a x-y setup at an angle to emphasize the sound of footsteps on the sidewalk.

Whenever i use my usb stick, my computer always makes an awful noise. I decided to record it and see if any of you guys can make anything out of it. To me it sounds like some sort of aliens or robots talking to each other. The only editing done was noise removal to get rid of the fuzziness and amplification to make it a little bit louder. This is a great recording from my digital police scanner of the atf and u. S. Marshal's doing a short, but detailed road surveillance here in houston. The atf starts out talking about a place to meet, then they follow the target suspects vehicle. Once they lose sight of the vehicle, they decide to let the marshal's signal device, planted on the vehicle, track it the rest of the way. This is a fine example of the new p25 digital (some encryption used) radio system that many federal and local law enforcement departments are starting to use. Enjoy!.

Stereo recording of about 5 lads skateboarding in a small square (custard factory, birmingham uk). Sound of wheels rumbling and nice meaty thwacks as the lads jump then land. They went around the square and some movement across the stereo image is audible. There is traffic noise from a nearby main road. Some comments and talking between the lads is audible but not clearly articulated. Recorded on a zoom h2 with the built in front microphones (90 degree nominal separation). Recorded as wav, loaded into audacity for removal of handling noise at start and end only.

This is a section of a recording i did when a school nearby had a field day. There's a decent part in the middle, where the wind sound is practically gone. I used some filters to take out the wind sound as much as possible, but the high end whistling of the wind is still a bit audible. Feel free to use this in anything!.

I recorded this quick improvisation with my built-in laptop microphone and track monitoring on in reaper, which resulted in it sounding washed-out, warped, and screechy in the high end. Literally do not have anytime now to study animation have to raise my daughter. But this lovely piece has been sitting on my hard drive. . . . The audience of about 750 was recorded inside the sanctuary of a large church following a christmas-themed concert in december 2018.
