A walking recording, starts off with a very noisy garbage truck, then all sorts of other street sounds in east village, nyc. Ends with me entering my apartment building through a double door. Explicit content starts at around -2:00 where a guy wants the *whole* world to hear his drama and he uses some explicit language while i'm waiting to cross the avenue to my building. File also edited a little bit for time.

A four minute clip of the surrounding sounds outside of my home in kortedala, gothenburg. You can hear a police car chasing some thugs around the streets in the distance.

This recording was done as a class exercise. You can hear people talking, dogs barking, some birds and insect sounds along with general street sounds such as cars passing by, honking, motorcycles, machinery humming, etc.

An ambisonic recording of the ambiance on the main walkway in tourist city of sopot in poland. (the bohaterów monte cassino street, also known as "monciak"). You can hear people passing by and talking (mostly polish language, but also some others), some footsteps on snow (the middle part was cleaned, but there was some snow on the sides), bicycles, and a wheeled trash bin used by garbage man. Any thursday, 12:00 am more or less. I was sitting down in a bench, looking to the buildings opposite me, with the road at my back. My handy recorder zoom h4n in my hands. Some people was chatting next to a car and then they got inside and they left (you can hear that on the left channel. Got it? "left" channel :d). You can hear people passing from one channel to another, cars and motorbikes. It was in c/ bravo murillo (madrid, spain). In that part, it is a one way street for vehicles, so all of them go from right to left channel.

When i walked down the street, a small motor-bike came along an alley, and stopped to see if it was okay to merge into the street. The bike started after confirming safety. Audio-technica at9470 and sony md recorder are the most compact set that i can choose.
