This is art and sound with some creepy and weird feels.

A friend of mine let me record her and i edited her laugh for a school project. I used a yeti mic to record and audacity to edit.

First test recording smashing bottles, mic levels were too high and it peaked. It sounded neat with the distortion so i thought i'd share. It's unedited, so you can hear people moving and laughing before and after the smash.

I was showing my 1 year old my recording studio. He was laughing and talking so i recorded him to play it back. His reaction was as wonderful as i could have hoped. This was recorded in my home studio, on a cad e100s microphone. Recorded in audacity, i copied the clip, lowered the pitch, stretched, added reverb, and reversed the audio. I also normalized to -3db.

This sound was the result of a scary accident. I was looking at the view in the webcam of an open doorway leading into a dark hallway in my house, when suddenly this haunting feedback faded in and looped repeatedly, until i pulled the volume down. It was unexpected, and quite unnerving. I had to laugh about it once i realized what had happened. But that first moment had me expecting some ghostly apparition to come in from the darkness. Anyhow, it's just an accidental feedback loop. I've had it in my archives for about 20 years now. I thought it might be useful to someone else. Enjoy!.

A music part i did in garageband for something called victors crypt. I borrowed a crazy laughter here on freesound to begin the tune with. After that i made a beat and some guitars over it. A groovy & sinister tunei made in garageband for something called victors crypt!. I couldn't sleep so i was playing around with a drumbeat. I kinda liked it so i added staccatto string-chords along with a bass in the same notes. Things start growing and ended up something groovy with a spooky touch. Could be useful in anything dark, eerie, spooky, creepy, scary, horrific,mysterious, crime-ish, thrilling or whatever comes to mind. I don't often go for fast food, but my bf thinks it's great. So; the counter girl looks exceedingly odd, as in pink hair, hook nose, wild eyes, no boobs, etc, and he orders what he wants with something at least close to this sound. She smiles and nods. He claims he got what he wanted. . . A big mac, no pickle. I asked him to repeat his order for my recorder. Three times. He did. All three were identical. It's possible he knew her and it's an inside joke. Or, maybe what he got was the default when they can't understand you. He is a linguist, which does not prove he spoke a real language. He also looks a little strange which does not add up to proof he's a venusian. That's what he said it was, and i couldn't stop laughing. It does prove he's entertaining, and he's pretty weird.
