This is a high-quality stereo recording of the ambient noises inside of a quiet swiss train wagon while travelling at high speed (around 200km/h). You can hear:- how the wagon rolls on the tracks. - the squeaks and cracks of the wagon. - very faint voices from other passengers in the same wagon.

My first ever field sound recording, made with diy mic and sony mz-n707 md, sp mode, mic gain set to "low". Tommorow will make some more :). Gilera runner sp50, 50 ccm 2-stroke scooter, with removed factory speed-limiters (some of them are in the exhaust). Mic was positioned maybe and inch above exhaust. The origin of this recording is a hob on the highest heat level recording slightly hot. Be very careful if you are doing this as fire is obviously detrimental to organic life and the microphone does not like to be on fire. An "acidized" (marked with loop/cue flags) sample. I imagine a furnace combusting away. Rate-shifting this sample (pitch/speed) can give you variations in your daw (digital audio workstation). This sample in particular feels appropriate for use as a background furnace sound or if sped up, a flamethrower.

I created a chip track to which i added a reverbation effect. I copied it and then rendered both onto a new track. Reusing the same sound , i lengthened the tempo and increased the pitch on the second one. I then reused it a few times to imitate the sound of the ball bouncing off the table, speeding up the tempo and adding a fade out effect.
