I think, this sound is good for spawning metallic or sharp objects in games. Maybe, falling of metallic barrel or some strange space rocks will be apropriate. Opening of spaceship doors seems good too.

This ringtone is a very quiet sound and is intended to stand in sharp contrast to the hectic world. It is intended that you only sense it at the beginning and only become aware of it at the end of its melody. Important calls repeat themselves anyway and you are saved the unimportant ones. 😁.

By placing my hand over my mouth i instantly have a compressor that distorts any air or sound in my mouth. All i do then is, with my mouth open, "hoot" or yell in short sharp bursts to make it sound like a dog.

This is just a noise taken off my home phone, it is the standard noise that plays after punching in a number. I used a direct feed for this one, although there really was not much different. This is the only sound from a direct feed that wouldn't come in so terribly soft.

I recorded this for a pinball game i worked on. It's multiple sounds of a marble being dropped onto a hard table and rolling around. It's meant to simulate the sound of a pinball being put into play on a pinball table. Enjoy!.

Pills being taken out of a metal wrapper: a very distinct metallic sound can be heard. It is sharp and high-pitched. You can hear a pop when the pill is being taking out of it's housing. Great to create tension in a scene. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg.

Rooster cock-a-doodle-dooing: there is no sound like it. A very loud and sharp effect of a rooster doing what it does best. Different versions are available in this track containing different amplitudes and tone. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg on a farm. This is great to use for a natural alarm or to fill out fram-ambiences.

Cricket shoes walking on pavement: in this sound you will hear cricket shoes( spikes ) walking on pavement it has a sharp sound when walking on pavement but is oddly satisfying to listen to. Recorded using the zoomh4n and the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. No processing was done on this sound. The cricket shoes are addidas shoes and the pavement was a concrete pavement.

Another example on "listening" to a computer. Many sounds you hear are overtones from fans. The sharp noise is data transfers. Most of the sounds are caused by moving the mouse. The processors are not "heard" by placing a small antenna between the flat cables from two hard discs, you can capture the data packages. That may be done next time.

Skates on ice: here is a very specific sound effect. The metallic slash through ice when it is being skated on. There are multiple variations of this in this track due to the amount of contact the blade of the skate has to the ice and also the force being put into the movement. It is a sharp and cold sound. Thunder storm: this is a very accurate and realistic thunder storm. The great clashes of thunder can be heard accompanied buy the rumbling of the storm. Wind blowing and swooshing paints a beautiful picture. The sharp lightning strikes are very prominent. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. This is a great ambience to create the basis of an amazing soundscape.

Recorded in my backyard with rode ntg-3 / dead wombat on zoom h6 recorder. Starts off with one decent short clap of thunder, but mostly rolling low rumble thunder and some rain here and there. Some of the rain drop sounds are sharp off of metal, some is just lightly hitting the ground. Some nearby trees blowing add to some of the ambiance.

Raw unedited recording of harsh metallic tinking sounds caused by a hot metal plate being hit by water droplets. The plate was hot enough to induce a leidenfrost effect preventing most of the water from boiling and sizzling away leaving mostly the impact sounds.
