This is not a field recording, actually. It's a reverbed recording of me hitting a desk (3x). Then, to make it sound distant, i added a lot of low-pass.

Made this using audacity and soundforge with my voice with a deep pitched vocal, added minimal delay, added a resonant filter, and added reverb to give that distant feel.

I've created a patch with my korg monologue, played an e and then applied valhalla supermassive fx. During the mastering i added a bit of compression.

I armed 4 tracks with the same input, on each track i put some processing like reverb, delay, picth etc. . Then i went to the booth and made some breathing noise.
