On the workbench is a spool of springy wire, which in this case happens to be nickel-chrome. It gets used sometimes for repairs; presently a few turns of the wire are sticking up above the spool, resembling an extended slinky. This is the metallic sound of twanging that coil of wire.

I had this piano in the seventies. It was manufactured at italy and had this cheesy sound. The sound is very analog and is created with squarewaves. In the last year i bought it at ebay and repaired it. The sound had a lot of noise,so i resampled it and put it into my roland fantom,to get a better sound. This is the result. Have fun.

This is the sound of a minidv camcorder i bought off ebay, eating a tape of historic one-of-a-kind footage. I'll now have to get the tape repaired and attempt to rescue the footage some other way. Such is life. The raw footage it destroyed belonged to my mid-2000's feature film, the long island project. Cross your fingers i can rescue it!.

A sound of a tightening wrench (a bike repair kit) being spun around to produce its distinct ratchet like sounds. Foley fun: put to 25% of its rate and you get convincing metallic gear sounds, apply a tiny bit of reverb, maybe layer it with some screeching sounds from other users (or me, your choice) or a slow gate shutter to get a nice mechanical door opening sample.

At first, the cars pass through in front of the school. And then, the people were talking around and pass by us when we went through the school-yard. We walked up the stairs and pass through the playground, we heard children playing basketball. We heard the balls hit the ground and the children screaming and shouting. Beside that, there was a sound of repairing near the terrace. At the end, we arrived canteen and we heard the students talking.

Various samples of me opening and closing my old wooden drawers, mostly with clothes inside of them. Different drawers have different weights of clothes in them, and are in different states of repair, so if the first sounds aren't quite what you're listening for, take a listen to the later sounds. Created for use in sinathorproductions' indie project: queen's meadow.

In a warehouse for musical instruments in seoul, southkorea. A lot of small shops gathered under one roof. Standing next to two men fixing and cleaning pianos. You her the hammering onto the nail that is holding the string. The more melody-like moments are when the other one is cleaning the keyboard with a towel. Nice reverb. Crude arpeggio and single note taps of the inner strings of an early-20th-century chas m. Stieff upright piano. This particular model was made in baltimore and spent most of its life in the lobby of the willard intercontinental hotel in d. C. , and the last 30 years in our home in fairfax, virginia. We are dismantling part of the piano to repair, clean, and, unfortunately, sell it. The mechanism for one note is the only problem, and, of course, it needs tuning. Anyone willing to give this a good home?.
