This is a spanish choir, one of the chirigotas who play in the carnaval in cádiz each year. This choir were renting the apartment next to mine in andalucia for a weekend. They invited me in for a beer and before i knew it they were out on the terrace singing their lungs out. Such wonderful people.

My friend and i had rented a minimoog model d (c1977, not the reissue). We were jamming out some ambient-type sounds, and my mate is just getting lovely tones out the moog, going through a deluxe memory man echo/chorus/vibrato for extra analogue niceness. A hot summer afternoon in the swedish forest/mountains. Recorded with zoom h5 (xy) outside the cabin i rented. Recording mostly consists of birds and general life from people moving/talking as they arrive to their cabins with family. Its intended to represent a peaceful vibe with some human presence. I decided to not remove much movement/actions from the people such post because i felt it might suck out the soul of the recording. In post: in pro tools i removed some low rumble, and and trimmed the highs just a little bit. Added a "pro expander" to lower some noise, both generated by the h5 and the location. Ps. I have a version with 2 dpa 4060 in a ab stereo fashion of the same recording, abit noisy but its on my profile if you want to listen. Hope you like it.
