Here is a sound that i produced in audacity by generating a tone and making the frequency very low. It sounds rather like a humming of a machine or electrical appliance! good for looping and such. Enjoy !.

Strange radio interference picked up between radio channels at 3am one morning. (i'm reasonably sure this some sort of strange em phenomenon rather than someone else's composition being broadcast; if i am wrong, i will be happy to take it down. ).

The road noise from a fiat ducato campervan on state highway 94 near mount hamilton. New zealands roads are rather gnarly with the gravel protruding from the tar. Hence the high noise.

It's a winnie the pooh stocking that sings "we wish you a merry christmas" when you push it, but i decided to take one of the batteries out and see what happens. The result is rather funny. Recorded on november 27, 2011 with an ipod touch. Converted to wav with audacity.

Whooshing sound, rather like the sound a stick makes when you whip it through the air. I made the sound accidentally by moving my zoom h4 fast through the air and quite liked the results. If you do us it, i'd be curious to know how, in the comments.

I was just messing around with audacity recently and recorded a word "no". Then stretched it out using tempo stretch function (function that streches speed, but does not alter the pitch) maxed out twice in a row. That resulted in such a simple word stretched out to almost 5 minutes. Sounds rather scary and interesting.

A simple phrase "when my work is finished, than i'm coming back for you!" in a dark undead-ish voice. Recorded with a cheap desktop mic and fiddled with in audacity. This is a slightly different version with an echo effect applied in the reversed sample rather than the normal.

The fur is long and rather coarse, which makes for great petting. *no credit needed, but would love it if you shared your creation should you use this sound!.

A sizzling effect made from close proximity xy (diaphragm) recording of oil on a high heat dropped onto a heated frying pan. Careful doing this, as this spits very hot oil back at you. It however will also create this rather high timbre sound very suited to those get scalded.

3 chain connected looping envelopes slowly finding a rhythm. At the start of the recording i set the tree envelopes at random loop length. Slowly they work their way to a more simple rhythm. Why? at about 2 minutes the rhythm is rather short phrase.

I´ve found a more than 2 meters high and wide bronze artwork hanging upright. It has several blocks on its surface, looking just like a upright hanging town. On 5 of the "houses" i played a rhythm, using rather hard drumsticks für kettledrums. Recorded with zoom h4n with 2 schoeps ccm4 mics.

I used my vape to make a gentle snake hiss. Worked out rather well, most hisses i've found barely had more dynamic than white noise. I think this fills the request for a snake hiss that's more dynamic. I will also upload this as a rainstick because it is similar.

While i was in math class taking a test i just decided to record. Near 4:38 you can hear a bell ringing, just a heads up for anyone who doesn't want a interrupting bell. It's can be rather useful for a animations where the character is surrounded by classmates taking a test or whatever. You can use it for anything it doesn't matter to me.

Today i was cleaning the house on a leisurely sunday, and came across a piece of thicker paper by my printer. When i picked it up to put it in recycling, it was rather loud. I play three notes on tenor trombone: Bb3, Bb2 and Bb1. They are all in first position. The first two notes are in the standard range of the trombone, while the last note is a pedal tone. This occurs when the instrument resonates at the fundamental, rather than the 2nd harmonic. Pedal Bb is relatively easy on trombone, but much harder on trumpet (I'm unable to do it, despite being proficient at trumpet and at a beginner's level on the trombone).
